One Time Only

Chapter 54

Harry walks up behind Jerica and wraps his arms around her waist. "What are you thinking mom?" He asks, kissing her neck.

Jerica leans back against Harry, entwining their fingers. "That this couldn't have been any more perfect. Our twins getting married to Louis and Andi's twins in a double wedding in our own front yard with the lake behind them. The same lake I conceived our first child." Jerica grins.

Louis snorts. "That's information we didn't need to know." He laughs as he and Andi stand beside the other couple. "But it's nice to know we'll like our in-laws."

Harry laughs. "We don't know that by now we need to have a serious talk. Between Timmy and Addy, Scott and Genna, and now the twins? Dude were fucked if we ever have a falling out." He chuckles.

Jerica laughs. "I can see it now. Grandkids having to walk across the yard to relay messages, poor kids."

"Naw, we'd be the cooler heads in the mix and have grandpa Jake build a hallway between our homes that way the kids could stay out of the weather." Andi chuckles.

"Speaking of, have you seen Jake. He's been watching Sandy and Heather all night." Louis says. "You'd think with six fucking kids he wouldn't panic when two of them are pregnant with his grandkids."

Harry nods. "Never dreamed our Sandy and Denny would end up marrying into Jake's family. But I'm so glad they did, he was already a trusted member of the family, now more so." Harry says.

"Poppy, Pappy is being bad." Jason, Sandy and Tyler's older son says, hugging Harry's leg.

Harry chuckles as he picks his grandson up. "Oh yeah? What'd Pappy do this time?" He asks the child, trying not to laugh.

"Mommy say he won't let her do anything." Jason giggles as he looks at his Pappy.

"How dare he." Jerica says. "Come on baby. Let's go tell mommy she can do whatever she wants to. She's not due for a few more months and this is a wedding, we're supposed to be having fun." Jerica grins as she takes Jason from Harry and sticks her tongue out at Jake, making everyone laugh.

Jake steps up beside Harry and Louis as Andi walks off with Jerica. "Would you look at that." He says. "Gentlemen, hate to say this, because it makes me feel damn old. But we did all that." He says as they look out over the lawn full of people, kids of all ages. All belonging to the three men standing side by side, in one way or another. Weather it was by birth, adoption, marriage or just love.

"You're right, it does make me feel old. But I have to admit, we have one beautiful family." Harry says.

"The whole lot, and they're all ours." Louis says.

With that said the three men join their family. And years later Andi and Jerica did have Jake add a hallway connecting the two homes. Not only that but more home were built on the lake property. Jake and Anne ended up getting married, a few years after his wife died of cancer. Then each kid decided one by one they didn't want to live that far from their parents, each building a home for their family, making all three grandparents very happy to have their family so close.
