As clueless as a bug,yet as determined a hungry wolf
Always pouncing around
Laughing at those adults and teens
Telling them they​ were annoying

Do you remember when we went to the stream not far from home
Remember how you kept slashing around and laughing
Remember when you saw that snack
Remember how brave you were
Remember how you two became friends

You proved history wrong
You proved mankind wrong
Not for once did it ever bite you
You proved wild animals and humans could live together
You proved it was the greed and power hungry and corrupt mind of humans that  spoilt and destroyed that relationship
You proved nothing is impossible
