Corida's POV

"So here's the story from A to Z, you wanna get with me you better listen carefully-" Griffin's out of tune voice recites loudly in the car as Graham drives us to what I presume is an ice cream factory of some sort; pursuing Griffin's plead from this morning.

I put my head in my hands and groan loudly, although it's more than likely I wasn't heard over the crying whale sat infront of me. "Please don't ruin this song for me." I plead.

Graham turns back to look at me when we reach a red light and smiles sympathetically. "Sorry, Tiger. I hate to break it to you but this is the best Finn can sing. You should hear his version of 'Drag Me Down' by One Direction. You do not want to hear his attempt of the high notes. Cats cry when it happens." He pauses for a moment before shuddering to himself. "Even I sometimes feel like crying when he does."

Griffin, unaware of mine and Graham's chat, rolls his window down fully and sticks his head out the window to sing to the poor, helpless bystanders.

I instinctively duck my head so that I'm out of view from the pedestrians nearby. I don't want to be a witness of somebody's hearing loss. That's most certainly not on my bucket list.

I stay like that for a few seconds before I notice the subtle sound of a thud coming from the front of the car over Griffin's wailing.

"Ow." I hear Griffin's voice exclaim shortly afterwards and then it dawns on me that Graham must have shut him up before I jumped out of the car window and walked, thankfully.

Silently thanking Graham for the newfound absence of Griffin's singing in the car, I sit back up normally and look out the window at the blurry outlines of buildings and people being pushed behind us.

"Finn, you always cease to amaze me whenever I find myself once again paying for your food without realising it until it's too late." Graham states, subtly amazed by his most likely accurate accusation to his friend.

"Aye, well I do have a way with food. Not with money though... I mean, I have enough money to last for the rest of my life... that is, if I die tomorrow." Griffin trails off as if realising that it's true.

I laugh in response from overhearing the boys' conversation but continue to glare out the window, unsure of what to do to pass by time in the car.

"We're nearly here." Graham breaks the current quietness and I sigh relieved.

In a matter of seconds, the car is parked in a slightly crowded area with people bustling about and small gangs of people lurking around an unfamiliar ice cream parlour infront of us.

"You coming, Corida?" Griffin asks me and it's then that I realise I'm the only one left in the car, Griffin standing at my side with the car door now wide open for me.

I hum a positive response and heave myself out without help from anyone this time; not wanting to over think Graham's aura when we arrived at the gym before.

The three of us begin to stroll towards the main entrance before I'm pulled back gently by a hand around my wrist and Griffin continues walking ahead.

Graham steps beside me and gives me a small grin before placing his jacket around my shoulders firmly.

"Wouldn't want you getting cold, Tiger. Besides, you didn't change from your gym wear." He points out causing me to glance down in realisation that I forgot to change out of the tank top and shorts.

I look back up to him and genuinely smile, "Thankyou."

"No problem. Now come on, I'm sure Finn is wondering where we are... or more suitable, where the money for his ice cream is." He says before walking ahead but still looking back at me to make sure I follow.
