Xian got up and sees that Jeremy was right behind her the entire time. Shit. Did he hear my conversation with Diggy? I hope he didn't. Well there wouldn't be enough evidence to prove what I am. Unless he has a phone on him. I should be careful. My next move could put me on the table.
She started towards the kitchen to put away her bowl. An uncontrollable ugre to itch her infected leg came. She needs meat or it will spread. Instantly she darted off towards Haileys room.
Xian tried the door but its locked. "他妈的是哪里的关键." She blurted. (Fuck where's the key.) She lifted up the potted plant beside the door but its gone. Where could it be?
Calm down its just an itch. If I start bleeding I'm screwed. Somebody will see that. Didn't Hailey hide one in my room? Maybe a fish in a bucket of ice? I have a fishing pole. Thats it I will go hunt one. But I cant leave the premises without a guard. Maybe Jack will take me. My only hope is to try.
Archie comes walking down the hall. "Hey little missy. Need to get in there. I got ya covered." He pulled out a key ring and inserted the right one. "Just put everything back when your done. That or say you found the key inside the plant." He winked and walked off whistling.
The fuck? Did he seriously just let me in? Who cares, I need meat and stat.
Searching the room she didn't find anything. Only a crossbow and five bolts. Also a pair of bolt cutters with a small knife. She took the knife and bolt cutters. Behind her she closed the door and started off towards her room.
Jeremy came down near Hailey's room at the same time. The two locked eyes. Xian acted casual and started off again. A terrible feeling in her gut told her to run. That Jeremy was gonna take the cutters and charge her with theft. So she did.
Jeremy began to speed up, making sure not to lose her. He will see what she is up even if it costs him his life.
Xian pushed pass a crowd of guards. Archie is one of them and he stopped her at the end. "Why are you so panicked?" He said bending down.
"Come with me and I will tell you." She said in a single breath. What else could she do? Jeremy is after her and Hailey is on a mission.
He nodded and the two sptinted off. "Where are we going?"
"To my room. I need to save my breath until we get there." Xian said winded. Her leg began to feel as if it were on fire. Once they got inside she jumped on the bed and rolled down her knee high socks.
"What the hell is going on?" Archie said dumbfounded.
"It's my bite. I need meat so it will go down. Do you have any?" She said tearing up over the pain.
"No, but I can get you in the meat locker. Nobody is allowed in there though. Will fish cover it?" He asked.
What the hell am I doing? If anyone finds out about this both of us are dead. Calm down Archie. This is natural. If it were the other way around Im sure Xian would do the same.
"Yea. I was gonna run off to the river if you hadn't stopped me. Please hurry. I don't know how long I can live in this state." Tears streamed down her cheecks.
"Don't worry I got you, sis." He smiled, gave her a kiss on the forehead, and left.
