One Night Stand [DraMione]

6: Six Years Later

~ Hermione Granger ~

It's been eleven years since Erin was born and the war ended. It's been six years ever since we moved into Malfoy Manor and Draco and I got engaged. It's also been six years since our son, Scorpius was born. It's been five years since Draco and I got married. It's been four years since our twins, Isabella and Jace was born.

We're all standing at Kings Cross Station, waving Erin off to her first year at Hogwarts. She's really nervous, seeing as how she was fully brought into the Wizarding World at age five. The Daily Prophet and Rita Skeeter had a bloody field day when Draco and I got married and then revealed our illegitimate child. Erin also doesn't know what house she's doing to be sorted into and is worried about that, even though any house is fine.

The Weasley's, other then Ron, have been fully supportive of my relationship with Draco. As long as he doesn't hurt me or the kids they're fine with our relationship. Ron keeps saying that I've betrayed them and Gryffindor house, by marrying a Slytherin and an ex Death Eater.

"I can't believe she's already eleven" I say to Draco, wiping tears off of my face.

My first baby is going to Hogwarts for the first time, I'm allowed to cry. Sue me if I'm not. Erin had just boarded the train, embarrassed that Draco and I were basically smothering her in hugs.

I'm holding Isabella by the hand and Narcissa is holding Jace by the hand while Draco is keeping a close watch on Scorpius. Scorpius really wants to go to Hogwarts and it wouldn't be suprising is he were to try and sneak onto the train with his older sister.

"Where is Erin going?" Isabella asks, looking up at me.

Isabella and Jace both took after me with curly brown hair and brown eyes. They have Draco's pale skin and sharp features though. Scorpius is the spitting image of his father, inheriting basically nothing from me.

"Erin is going to Hogwarts" I said with a bright smile.

"Hog-warts" Isabella says, sounding out the word.

"Mummy already told us that" Jace says to his sister, rolling his eyes at her.

Isabella sticks her tongue out at her brother, causing him to the same thing back to her.

"Jace, Isabella, knock it off" I scold them as I resist the urge to smile at the two.

They both look down at the ground, slowly nodding their heads in defeat.

The train starts to leave so we all wave at it as it passes. We see Erin in a compartment with Teddy, Tonks and Lupin's son. He was born during the war so he's a year or so older than Erin. They get along great though, pulling pranks that Fred would be and George is proud of. Him being proud of it encourages the behavior but he doesn't seem to care. I do though.

Once the train is gone, the platform steadily starts to empty. We decided to wait out the steady stream of people. Apparently Harry and Ginny decided to do the same thing. They're not their with their kids; James, Albus Severus, and Lily. One of the Weasley's must be watching them.

"Hermione!" Ginny exclaims when she sees us.

She walks over and Harry follows behind his wife. Harry and Ginny have been married longer than Draco and I have but they have a much more....normally formed relationship.

We all greet Harry and Ginny with hugs, even Narcissa. Isabella and Jace are ecstatic to see Harry and Ginny. They love spending time with them and the Weasley's because they become the centers of attention.

"It's Erin's first year, isn't it?" Ginny asks.

"Yeah, it must be Teddy's second year. Yeah?" Draco says.

Even though Draco and Teddy are second cousins, they hardly see each other. Narcissa on the other hand,  sees her great-nephew and often watches him and Erin at the same time.

"Yep, Erin and Teddy are probably gonna wreak havoc at Hogwarts while they're both there" Harry says with a chuckle.

"I pity McGonagall" I say with a laugh.

Ever since the war ended, McGonagall took over the position of Headmistress of Hogwarts school or Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was Dumbledore's Deputy Headmistress so it just made sense that she would become the new Headmistress.

Harry and Ginny share a look of horror, remembering the pranks that Fred and George did during their Hogwarts days. Will Teddy and Erin be able to beat them and the Marauders in their pranking skill? Who knows?

But at least they don't have the looming threat of a war over their heads. At least they will have perfectly normal and safe years at Hogwarts, unlike their parents.
