[Third Person]

{Past Thence}

{60 Years Later}

Sulphur filled Gandalf's nose as he looked toward Mordor, "Fire rises from the mountains in the east..." Gandalf mused. "And the Ring of Power has been found..."

"Gandalf..." a voice commanded. "You must go to Imladris and call a meeting of all the free peoples of middle earth, for the threat we now face holds the fate of us all."

Gandalf swung around and gasped, "My Lady! What are you doing here?"

"I said that if you ever were in need, you wouldn't be alone." Galadriel reminded.

"Surely if I call a meeting it would take too long?" Gandalf pondered.

"No, there is still time, if you act quickly. Make sure Frodo makes it to Imladris, or resistance would be futile." Galadriel advised.

"You are right, My Lady. I will go now." Gandalf decided.

"May Eru Ilúvatar be with you!" Galadriel smiled.

[At Rivendell (Imladris)]

[Time skip brought to you by Gandalf travelling from Gondor to Imladris]

Gandalf galloped through the gates of Rivendell and asked Lindir, "Where is Lord Elrond?"

"No greeting?" Lindir asked amused. "He is in his study, Mithrandir."

"Forgive me and thank you, Lindir," Gandalf said gravely as he rushed toward Elrond's study.

As Gandalf rushed toward the study he remembered all the times he had been in Imladris before, the singing along to the fair elvish bards and their golden lyres. "Gandalf? What are you doing here?" Elrond asked as Gandalf bursted into his study.

"We must call a meeting of the nations!" Gandalf gasped breathlessly.

"What do you mean?" Elrond asked.

"The Ring has been found!" Gandalf roared.

"How? When? Where?" Elrond gulped.

"Bilbo, just recently, in The Shire!" Gandalf growled impatiently.

"Why call a meeting?" Elrond questioned.

"So, we can decide what to do with It!" Gandalf breathed.

"Right away! Bring the Ring to Imladris a soon as you can!" Elrond hastened.

As soon as Gandalf left, Elrond started writing summons to all the nations, Gondor, Rohan, The Silvian Elves, Dale, The Dwarves of Erebor, The Dwarves of The Blue Mountains, and Eriador. "Hmm, our list of allies grows thin methinks..." Elrond murmured.
