I started walking towards the school until DJ side-tackled me to the ground.

"Hey Alex!" He exclaimed with a cocky smile.

I laughed while pushing him off of me, "You idiot, you scared me!"

"Good. That's what I was goin' for."

He got up and held his hand out to help me up.

"So how's everything with you?"

I sighed, "Okay. How 'bout you?"

"Boring."

"Why?"

"Because. We're at school."

We walked through the doors of our school and started walking up the stairs into the crowded highschool hallway.

"Hey, what are you listening to? Just wondering."

"Black Veil Brides, obviously."

He chuckled, "No wonder I could hear it. I'm surprised you haven't gone deaf yet."

"Just shut up." I lightly punched his arm.

"I got to get to homeroom, see ya at lunch! And try not to get into too much trouble with Brittany!"

I called back, "No promises!"

I started walking to my locker while quietly singing along to "Sweet Blasphemy". Just my luck, Brittany and her friend Lexi are in front of my locker.

Brittany looked at me with a sneer on her face, "Hey Alex-"

"Move." I shoved her out of the way before she had a chance to respond.

I stuffed my backpack into my locker and since I have P.E. first period, I don't have to bring any books with me. I slammed my locker closed and started walking into my homeroom.

"Alex!" Brittany squealed.

Can't she just ever leave me alone?

I kept walking until I felt something tug on my right earbud and I whipped my head around to see Lexi. The thing about Brittany and Lexi is that they're both blonde, dumb and annoying. The difference is, Lexi wouldn't be afraid to pull someone's hair or in my case yank my earbud out of my ear. They can make fun of my clothes, my looks or anything but no one messes around with my music. She was lucky I didn't turn around and punch her.

"What do you want?" I snapped. "Actually, I don't care. Just screw off and leave me alone."

I marched into my homeroom, good thing the teacher didn't notice I was late. Mr.Smith usually doesn't make a big deal when someone's late. I rushed into my seat and rested my head on my desk.

"You okay?"

I turned to see who Christina was talking to and it turns out, that person is me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired, you?"

"I'm doing pretty good. I think Tristan might like me back!" She said trying to contain her excitement.

Christina is the one girl I could always go to if I ever needed to talk about boys or anything, which I rarely do unless I'm talking about anyone from Black Veil Brides. She's my best girlfriend and hopefully it stays that way.

I groaned, "Good for you."

"What? You ALWAYS talk about Black Veil Brides, why can't I talk about Tristan?"

I chuckled, "You know you like BVB! You know you do!" I started poking her and making faces, trying to get her to admit her love for my favorite band.

"I know, I know! I like them, but I also like Tristan. I wish I could just have them all!"

"Well-"

The sound of the bell cut me off from finishing my sentence.

"See ya at lunch, Alex!"

"See ya!" I yelled back while rushing to my next class.

The rest of the day was kind of a blur. All my classes were full of teachers, learning, work, homework and all the popular kids.
