We waited for a good 2 hours. "Mr. Mccann is awake you could meet" the nurse said. "Thanks" Robin said and we rushed to Jason's room. There he sat all grumpy. How do I know? Even if we are fighting right now, we were like best friends. "Jason, you okay?" Robin asked. "I wanna go home" He said. "We are going home, buddy" Robin said. "Now!" He shouted. "Allen, we need to talk so me and you in one car" He said. "Are you sure, you both would be fine alone?" Ryan asked. He nodded.
Ryan and I helped Jason to the car. And I sat with Jason. "Go to the opposite direction tbey are going" He said. I drove the car. After a good drive of an hour we stopped in front of a old park like place. It was real old park with dried leaves there, an old fountain a few benches and a river which still flowed but nevertheless, it was pretty. "Well, are you gonna propose me here?" I asked to lighten the moment. "What?" He asked. "Well, this is a real pretty place, somewhere you propose someone" I said. "In your dreams" He said. "This is a kinda place where no one usually comes so..." He trailed. "Okay" I opened the car door and helped Jason out, we sat on a bench. "So?" I asked. "Look, you didn't let me say anything. I accept, I'm a bloody loser, a freaking idiot, a real bad friend and worst human of the world" I was not expecting that. He looked at me then down on his lap.

"I'm cruel, ruthless, heartless and meaningless" He said. "Well, they all have almost same meaning" I said. He stared at me blankly. "Okay, I'm listening" I said. "I'm sorry, I was mad at everyone for useless stuff, I almost tried to choke you, pointed gun on you or anything I did. I'm sorry!" Till then His voice broke and according to me was about to cry. "I really am sorry. I didn't want any of this! I didn't want Alex to die... I didn't want to kidnap (Y/N), I didn't want to do anything! I wish I hadn't ran away from those CIA agents, I wish I had stayed to prove myself right! But I can't do anything for God's sake!" And that's when He broke down. "You always asked Why I wanted revenge. Well, just imagine, your only family dying in front of your eyes. Like there were 10 CIA agents. All armed. And they didn't shoot just once. My brother didn't even get the time to think about anything." He said. "I know I chose the wrong path, but I can't do anything... truly" I can't believe this. He said. I pulled him in a hug without thinking.
You know who this guy is? This guy is the one we thought died with Alex. Sensitive but still popular in school, sweet, smart, talented, cool. "Jason, It's okay... stop crying what if any gang member of yours came here" I said. He sat straight and wiped away his tears. "Much better... now let's go" I said. "Another question, Allen. Do you like (Y/N)?" He asked. My eyes went wide. "You want the truth?" I asked as he nodded. "1st tell me, do you?" I asked. "You want the truth?" I nodded. He nodded. "You?" He asked. "No" I said. I can't steal the only happiness in his life. "Liar" He said smiling. "Even if I do, she loves you" I said. He shook his head. "I can't believe, we are standing at this point of life, where we both like the same girl" He said. "C'mon she likes you... case closed... And obviously, my friend is more important than any girl in this world" I said. "Now, can we go home?" I asked. "Yeah... I'm hungry..." He said. I helped him in the car and sat myself. I started driving and at that moment Jason turned around. "Jason, your back might hurt" I said. "I know" and he sat straight again.
After sometime, we were home. "Hey, Allen, there is a gun in the back, can you bring it in?" He asked. "Okay..." I said. I took the gun and helped him out and then in the house. The guys and (Y/N) were all in the living room. "Guys, we're alive. We didn't kill each other" Jason said. Everyone smiled. "Ryan and Chaz I need to talk" He said. "Okay enough of these private talks." Robin said. I helped Jason to the couch and placed the gun on the center table. We all sat around him. "Okay...So... As I promised to Allen, I quit. And I don't force you guys, Ryan and Chaz so here you go, take my place" Jason said handing Ryan the gun. "Are you kidding me, I'm not taking your place and if you're gonna force me... I too quit" Ryan said and handed the gun to Chaz. "Man, please, I am not the one for this" I was shocked on how much these guys were loyal to Jason. "But then-" "Jason... We started this together and If you're quitting, we 're gonna end this together too." Ryan said. "Of course... and we have enough riches that we could live our whole life without working" Chaz said as we laughed. "But if someone comes to kill you guys?" Robin asked. "Then we somehow without showimg ourselves tell the CIA and cops about our precious gang members" Jason said. "Well, guess what? Things are finally getting normal" I said. This is the best day of my life, except the fact that (Y/N) would never be mine but It's fine I got my friend back. I was staring at (Y/N). I looked at Jason, He has been sitting for half of the day. "Jason let's get you to your room" I said
I helped him to his bed and was about to leave. "Allen, I have made my life dangerous enough that it has no guarantee that I'm gonna live a long life" He said. I stared at him confused. "If anything happens to me or I'm not there for (Y/N), I disappear or am no where to find or... dead" "Jason, what are you talking about-" "Allen!" I shut my mouth. "Take care of her..." He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You know what I mean... Marry her, date her, whatever you want but keep her safe and happy" He said. "Even if I think this is rubbish... Fine. Now, please don't mourn over stupid stuff, buddy" I said. He smiled and I went out of the room.
