What Happened To Us All?

Sonic woke up to Amy knocking on the door, "Sonic! Someone is here to see you!"

"Alright, Alright, I'm coming," He said opening the door yawning.

"Who is it?" Sonic asked as he heads into the Kitchen.

As he makes it to the kitchen opening, he saw Knuckles, Tails, and Shadow there, along with me.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" Sonic said confused.

"SHE is the problem!" Knuckles said pointing at me as I was then near the window, filing my nails.

"Knuckles, calm down," Tails said slowly putting Knuckle's tightened fists down.

"Who is she, Shadow?" Sonic said looking almost with a smirk, Shadow wasn't amused.

"That BEAST on the island," Shadow said looking back at me as I looked at them, then sighed shrugging and going back to filing my nails.

"You're joking," Sonic said crossing his arms, puzzled.

"Says the blue boy, who had the instinct to run away, poor, poor soul," I said within a taunting voice as I kept filing my nails.

Knuckles slammed his fists on the table standing up, "You couldn't keep your mouth shut could you?!"

"Knuckles!" Amy said as she got her hammer out, "Don't make me smack you senseless!"

Knuckles then sat back down, silent, yet angry.

"What happened Shadow?" Sonic said looking over at Shadow.

"Something that is hard to explain, however, GUN wants her dead or alive," Shadow said pointing at me with his thumb with one swooping jerk, then went back to crossing his arms.

"So? Turn her in," Sonic said looking seriously concerned.

"I can't after what happened to me," Shadow said thinking, "I just can't get a good image or remember all of what happened. Chunks of it are missing."

"You made a fire shield with your bare hands," I said still filing my nails before putting the filer in my pocket.

"How can I do that, was my question, but you won't answer," Shadow said looking back at me as I hop off the window.

"Look, as much as I WANT to tell you, you aren't ready for the truth yet, none of you are," I said putting my hands in my pants pockets.

Knuckles got up then I pointed at him, "Especially you, so sit down."

Knuckles sat down grumbling. Sonic looked at me as he saw my tail, "So no joking was there Shadow?"

"You just noticed the tail? Humph, Slow," Shadow said with a confident look, but no smirk.

"So what does this have to do with you not turning her in?" Amy said with her hammer still out, taunting Knuckles.

"When I didn't know what happened, I only remember bullets flying, some of my energy drained, then, I snapped out of it as I realized I made a fire shield out of thin air," Shadow said holding his head. 

"Types like you can with the power of the Darkuma Creature," I said looking at Shadow.

"Wait, hold up, the GUN shots that they fired?!" Sonic said shocked.

"Afraid so," Shadow said looking at me.

"Look, I'm not the bad guy here, I just had enough being the bait of their attention," I said looking out the window, back facing everyone, "I'm just born different, that was all, if it wasn't for GUN to be just too bold for a way for me not to get caught, I wouldn't forced to be pumped in with electricity to drain my power for their mere...TESTS, EXPERIMENTS."

All were shocked as they saw my fist spew out blood from pressure in my nails making holes in my palms. I then put my fist down, "Luckily, I took petty of them, they weren't wasting carbon over."

Then all looked at me Shadow remained sitting while all were ready to fight, "Like I said.....I'm not the bad guy, just a creature gone a good kind of rogue, that is all."

"Rogue or not, you just can't just come in acting like Shadow, we aren't just gonna let you stand by and hurt people," Sonic said as those last words rushed into my brain.

"We aren't gonna let you stand by and hurt people." Then a rush of memories flowed to me quickly like a landslide thumping in my brain. The flames in the background as the memory spewed out chunks of a war unknowing with eternal flames. I then held my head collapsing on the ground holding my head with my sharp claws above my skull. All rushed to me, even Shadow as my eyes were shut, but I was awake, leaving me to hear their words.

"Is she alright?!" Amy asked.

Tails nodded, "Something tells me, she is telling the truth."

"Wadda mean, pal?" Sonic said.

"She is collapsed on the ground holding her head like she is being beaten up or so much as getting a headache severe to her brain.

Amy held her hands over her mouth, "What about...those....Claws?"

All starred at how long my claws grew, they were as long as a broom pole from my fingertips, outwards. I opened my eyes as they glowed with a bloody red as I coughed up blood as I put my hand over my mouth while quickly getting up and putting my hand at the window.

"Oh my gosh! I'll get the medkit!" Amy said about to rush off.

"N-no need," I said pulling out a small glass bottle filled with red fluids in it, as red as blood, "This is n-normal, for me anyways." I opened the bottle and took a small sip then raised my head swallowing and my claws lowered and went back to normal nails. I slightly coughed afterwards as I wiped my chin, "There, normal."

"What is that?" Knuckles said as everyone looked at the bottle as I put it back in my pocket.

"It smells," Amy said holding her nose, swiping at the air.

"Can't tell you, I just need to get somewhere and quick, " I said as I broke out through the window and flew off.

"Shadow then hops out through the window and managed to grab my leg, I didn't even bother struggling with him.

"Shadow!" Sonic yelled, but too far and too late. We were already to far gone in the air.

"Tails! Get the Tornado!"Sonic said as Tails nodded.

"Got it!" Tails runs off with Amy falling behind.

"What did she mean, especially you, Knuckles?" Sonic said as Knuckles walked up to Sonic looking at me in the air.

"Dunno, but something tells me, it might be about my clan," Knuckles said with a chill sent down his spine.
