The Blue Moon Rise

We made a campfire outside the tree house mansion, Bud laid at my side, as the night was so bright, for the full moon was out.

We all sat in silence, until I broke the silent chain, "The file you guys saw.....was another branch of the timeline. His name is Exe, he had the power to possess people, dead or alive."

Sonic spoke up, "But, what does that have to do with me?"

"Everything," I said as a chill went down my spine, "YOU died by an actual attack by Eggman, but he laid low for some reason. Everybody grieved for you, especially Amy, it was to the point of her wanting to be alone and nearly going insane before the funeral even started. She even was there after all was gone and cried on the coffin.......Knuckles stayed behind with Amy.... she spoke with tears drenching her face, 'there is room inside for two'. Knuckles took her punches out of anger and grief, she wanted YOU back Sonic......that's when.......HE came along. Amy, she found a book of spells, trying to bring Sonic back to life in the middle of a cold fall. Mobius shook then HE rose you up.....Amy thought it was Sonic....but.....even Exe had the destiny to kill for his own game. First tails, Then Knuckles, and Eggman. Exe thought it wasn't enough; then Amy, then Cream, then....this....Sally figure...."

"Who's Sally?" Knuckles asked and Sonic just shrugged.

"Then, all hid and tried to survive; then Rouge, then Shadow, Blaze and Silver, all almost was lost......Amy however.....Faked her death.....and YOU had to fight back......that's when I came along in one of the timelines....while you were fighting within your conscious mind, I had no choice....I had you both split up from among one being, to becoming two....all your darkest of forms were removed......but......there was....a catch."

"What was it?" Sonic asked, getting even more and more curious.

"You as separate beings had their own bodies, but you shared the same life," I said poking the fire.

"So, if I die...."Sonic said with an immense pause.

"Then they die as well, however, if they die, all, including you too, will die," I said with a sad sigh.

"So, how can I get rid of him and the other ones?!" Sonic said, standing up.

"You can't," I said looking guilty, "That's how this branch of the timeline was formed."

Sonic then sat down and Amy spoke up, "What do we do now?"

"You guys can do whatever you please....."I said then looked at Shadow, "Shadow and I......well, we made a deal, and it stuck....."

"DEAL? What type of deal?" Tails said with a look of....a slight worried expression.

"A TRAINING deal," I said with a lout thump in my heart that felt like someone banged a knife into it.

AS the blue moon showed its light over us, the flames died out, and we all hit the hay, Sonic was still up, wondering if he could do anything to defeat this EXE.....this Sonic .Exe character that took form of his; this SE man of the hour.
