They walked through the forest and kindly and gently greeted the creatures some still ran, while others slowly warmed up to them, Amy looked at Sonic, "All of these creatures...."

"I know.....but why here, why not back at their habitats?" Sonic asked, worriedly.

Tails then thought sadly, "Because their old homes might not be the best thing for them right now....think about it, they came from their old homes and was used wrongly, would you want to go back to a deadly home like them?"

Sonic looks at the creatures as the looked worriedly at him, "No......I wouldn't."

They kept walking until the met a huge thick tree.....it was the thickest and the biggest tree there, you could possibly make an elevator shaft out of it....and it did. They looked at each other as Amy walks to the elevator, Tails got in the way, "Amy! What are you doing?!"

"I want answers, I want to know what she's hiding from us!" Amy said, stubbornly.

Sonic then walks up, "What about HER warning?"

"Sonic," Amy said looking back at him angrily, "Out of all the things we have seen, isn't it about time we knew what she was really up to?"

Sonic hesitated then as Tails spoke out, "Still Amy, what about the creature she said doesn't like uninvited guests up there?"

Sonic then spoke up, "We might as well face it."

"Sonic, you too?!" Tails said as they both looked at Sonic. 

"We got to know, Tails, what she could be hiding, it might even help figure out why she hides from the world," Sonic said walking to the elevator as Amy followed behind.

They pressed the button as Tails came along as the elevator came down and opened, it was inside the tree trunk, it was created to be hallow. They entered the elevator as once the door opens a dog was asleep by the elevator door. It slept sounding aggressive as they walked over the dog, Tails looked at the dog, "That's her guard, we need to be quiet."

The two nod making it into the living room....the layout.....was majestic! The living room had a feature of beauty with a TV and all! Going up some steps, there was the kitchen and the bar that had a dining table, the back of the house was made of windows, bullet proof too. Then there was a golden throne there. The sunset shined at the window as it had a beautiful look to it.

It was gorgeous as Amy loved it, "It is awesome..."

Then Sonic found a door that was next to the dining room table as he walked to it, "What is behind there?"

The walked and Sonic opened the door, it was technology galore! Tails looked around, but didn't touch anything, "This is way out of our league type of tech!"

Amy walked in, "Why would she have this here? Of all places?"

Then as Tails sat in the seat, a ding came by and coffee came out, Sonic pointed out, "Maybe that?"

Tails then saw the huge electric halo ring, and some files, one of Sonic's TIMELINE that was......bloody.

As Tails opened it, his eyes were stuck starring at the creature who looked looked like a bloody massacre Sonic, "S-Sonic...?"

"Whadda find, pal?" Sonic said walking over.

He saw the creature then Tails looked at the timeline and date, it was, the same date as today, but the time has already passed, then as they read it, the growls at the door grew, like a bulldog ready to strike. They turned around and just before the dog attacked, I whistled and called him back over to the door, he ran back to me barking, "Hi, Bud! How are you?"

I smiled then saw them in here as I threw a bone downstairs for Bud to fetch, The three gave me an unfriendly look.

I sighed, "Oh, alright! You got me, I am a time traveler. There, happy?"

Shadow was at the door, "I don't think so."

I sigh, "Look, that was the guy me and Shadow saw, okay?! I just don't need this stress right now, can you just put the file down?!"

"Not until you explain who this is and why he looks like Sonic!" Amy said bringing out her hammer.

"That was a dead version of Sonic! Okay?! The reason why I didn't tell anyone about this is because they could destroy timelines and I'd be the one to fix them all on my own!" I said slamming my fist hard on the desk.

Silence filled the room, even Shadow was wide eyed, he was more shocked than interested...Sonic spoke up, "T-This was.......me?" 

"Look, I'll tell you guys tonight, until then, find something to do.....I have work to finish up here..." I said as Tails quickly moved and I sat in my chair with my tail, hanging from the side of the chair.

All exited before Sonic, Sonic stopped at the door then put the file on my desk, sliding it to me, "I'm....sorry."

He walks out as Bud came to my side whimpering, I pet his head, "It's alright, just so long this doesn't get out there, we're safe...."

I repaired food within the place of silence, I went back to the other room, with nothing but mere bar and some waters, they ate, then talked. Knuckles spoke up, "Why didn't you guys look for me when you had the chance to?"

All remained silent. "Well? What happened while I was gone?" Knuckles spoke up once more.

Sonic then said under this breath, but loud enough for Knuckles to hear, "Knuckles, she knows what happened."

"Happened? Happened to what and where?" Knuckles said.

"You should have asked WHEN," Shadow said mumbling under his voice as no one heard him, but it echoed in his mind like something he regrets NOT to do.
