23: You Just Smiled

*JB's POV*

" You told me to stay and not to leave you. Tell me you were just dreaming right? It doesn't mean anything, right?" 

"Of course" I said and ran my fingers through my hair. How long am I going to hide and lie? I know that it's better to lie and hide my feelings for her but sometimes, I kept saying things that I'm not supposed to say. Probably if you ask her, 'who am I to her' , she'll obviously say 'he's my friend'.

"Sehyun.." I called her.

"Yeah?" She looked at me.

"Wanna go somewhere else?" I asked and she began to giggle.

"You do realize that we have school right?"

"Yes, I do realize. Let's not go to school and go somewhere else for a while" I looked back at her.

"You know that we have some other time to do those things. But right now it's time for school"

"No" I began to furrow my eyebrows. "You're going to Mina this weekend. You're going to spend time with your family.."

She then sighed, "Alright. We'll go somewhere else"

"Great. Thank you"

We're going somewhere else, just the two of us. I'll make sure she'll have fun with me. But wait, is this a date?

*End of Jb's POV*

I began to take a shower and prepared myself before we leave. I wonder why Jb doesn't wanna go to school today. Maybe it's because of Alex again. I walked towards the door and walked outside. I saw him leaning against the wall beside my  room's door. He looks very cool, a type of bad boy that girls want.

"Hey" I looked at him and gave him a smile.

He then looked at me and began to walk towards the door. I follow him slowly while watching him. Surprisingly, he opened the door and waited for me. It's really surprising yet wonderful to see that he's getting better. Sometimes he's kind and gentle, but sometimes he's irritable and rude.

I smiled at him and walked outside. Then, he followed me and closed the door. We went down to the ground floor and walked outside from the building.

"Where are we going?" I looked up at him.

"Somewhere" He answered.

I stayed silent wishing he'll answer more specific. He walked towards his car and opened the car's door for me. As both of us have entered the car, he started the car and started driving.

"Where are we going?" I asked again while looking at the road.

"Somewhere" He answered again.

I sighed, "If you can, please be more specific"

"I'll tell you later" He glanced at me as he continues to drive.

"Why not now?"

"Cause I don't wanna tell you right now"

"Okay fine" I sighed again and pouted a bit.

After a half a minute he brought me to some place with a good view, no, not good but great view!. I walked out from the car and looked around, it's very very nice and seems peaceful. I can see some of the buildings and more.

"This is nice" I smiled and ran over to the fence. Jb slowly followed me with his hands in his pockets.

"It is" He replied without looking at me.

"How'd you know about this place?"

"I used to come here when I was still young, Jinyoung and the others knows about this place as well"

"That's nice" I smiled as the wind blows my hair gently. I placed my hands on the fence while looking at the nice view.

He exhaled deeply, "It looks very calm up hear, right?" He glanced at me quickly and smiled.

I nodded in response without looking or glancing at him, just keeping my eyes on the view. It became really quiet after that, until he began to speak again.

"There's a river down there, you wanna come with me?" He looked at me.

"Yeah" I looked back with a smile on my face. He nodded and started walking and so did I. After 10 minutes we finally reached the river. Even the river is absolutely stunning. There's also a few benches and picnic table. There, I dropped my bag and ran towards the flowing river. I squat down and started to play with the water like a little kid.

The sound of the water is so calming, I love it very much.

*Jb's POV*

Look at her, she's so cute I just wanna hug her from the back or pet her. I began to smile and walked towards her.

"This is cool" She said while playing on the water still.

"You seem like you haven't seen a river" I looked at her with a smile. I couldn't help not to smile, I'm so happy and she is as well. I don't wanna lose her, I wanna be with her, I wanna get closer to her and know her more.

"I've see-" She's been cut off as she look at me, dumbfounded.

"What's wrong?" My smile faded away.

"You just smiled. Oppa, you just smiled!" She started to give me a bright smile.

"Did I?"

"Yes. You made my day"

"I'm glad" I began to smile again and started to pat her head.

While I pat her head gently, Something unusual happened, my heart was beating so fast and both of us were stunned, as if we're only thinking about each other right now. I can only see her, nothing more, nothing less.
"Sorry..., i'll just pat your shoulder" I said and pat her shoulder.

"I'm happy that you're starting to be happy again" She turned and looked at the river.

"Well yeah, it's because of you" I mumbled.

"Hm?"

"I-i just wanna ask something.." I took a deep breath.

"Do you like some-" I've been cut off as someone started clapping slowly.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here" I turned around and saw Alex. What is she doing here?

"Hey Alex" Sehyun greeted.  I hope Alex won't mess with her again.

Alex walked towards Sehyun and I immediately called Alex and gave her a glare.

*End of Jb's POV*

*Alex's POV*

"What? I'm not going to mess with her. I went here and I coincidentally saw you guys. I'm happy because I was hoping to apologize to Sehyun. I've been wrong and I'm sorry Sehyun" I smiled at her and hugged her softly.

She smiled back, thanked me, and hugged back.

Yes, it's all according to plan. Once she trusts me and treat me as her friend, I'll slowly drag this bitch down. Such fool, much wow. Hah.
