Like his eyes,
the orphan's character was gray.
The debt of a roof over his head,
owned by his adoptive parents,
was paid back by hiding their crimes.☀
Exhausted
by his psychotic wife's love,
he erased the weapons
she had tainted
with innocent blood.♥
To save his wife,
he married another,
who looked identical
to her,
except for her golden heart.☀
The race
between white and black
raged,
the light in his heart struggling
with the darkness in his mind.♥
Like the gray in his eyes,
his soul refused
to choose a side
and was colored
the same.☀
