I kissed the scars on her skin

-Vic pov-

As normal school was a waste. I ended up skipping the last couple of classes and went home. The school year had just started and it was already horrible. Yeah, I might have been one of the most popular guys in the whole school, but it still wasn't all that great. My most favorite person in the world, my brother, walked through the doors of our home indicating that the school day was over.

"Hey mike how was school?" I asked bouncing down our stairs to greet him.

"It sucked as usual. Tony and Jaime got detention. They told me they would be over later though." He said getting some food from the fridge.

I didn't bother asking why. Tony, Jaime, Mike and I always were in some kind of trouble. Normally just for getting in fights or teasing the other kids, they were all kind of scared of us. I just slowly walked back to my room and grabbed my laptop and started listening to some music.

---later still Vic's pov---

It felt like only a few songs had played when I heard a knock on the front door down stairs and heard who I'm guessing was Jaime and Tony talking to mike saying "hey dude" and "man detention sucked" They loudly ran up the stairs and into my room and jumped on me.

"Ow! You jumped on my foot!" I screamed at tony who was sitting there laughing at me acting like he was gonna kiss it to make it better.

They were the best friends any one could ask for. I trusted them with anything. We were in a band together. It wasn't a big thing. Nobody had even heard us play, but we still practiced because we all loved music. After smacking Tony's lips away from my foot, we got up and sat on my bed and talked about how it was our last year in high school and how we wanted to do something big at the end of year talent show. We all agreed that we would practice more. I noticed that my mom and dad would be home any minute.

I told Jaime and Tony they needed to leave because mom said I couldn't have any one over if I didn't do chores... And well, to be honest I haven't even started them. After they left, Mom and Dad got home and I started the chores. It didn't take me long to do them and as soon as I got done I went up stairs to bed not wanting to wake up in the morning and go to school.

--the next day already at school Vic's pov-

"Fucking dumbass!" Jaime yelled at some kid then punched him in the face, hard. Then he gave me a nod signaling that it was my turn. Right before I even got to touch the kid, Tony came running down the hallway and winked letting me know a teacher was coming. As usual, Mike picked the kid up and ran as fast as he could to the nearest storage closet so we wouldn't get in any trouble. Perfect timing. Mike shut the door right as the teacher turned the corner coming down the hallway.

"Boys class is about to start. Get to whoever you belong to." The teacher said and kept walking.

We all had different classes which sucked but we had lockers beside each other and had lunch together so we saw each other a lot. We said our goodbyes and went to our second class we had already skipped first. When I walked in the class room only a few kids were in it and the teacher wasn't even here yet so I just sat in the back of the room and listened to music.

When the teacher finally walked in she cleared her throat and motioned for some one to come in. A girl walked in she was absolutely beautiful even though she just had some high waisted shorts on with a simple black tank top. Her face was flawless her eyes were the lightest color of baby blue. She had brown freckles under her eyes and on the bridge of her nose. Her hair was medium length and was a pretty brown with some caramel colored strands in it. Her beauty was so distracting I completely zoned out and then I snapped back into realization when I heard the teacher saying my name almost annoyed. "VICTOR!" She belted one last time before I answered, "huh? Oh what? Yes?"

"This is Haley, I looked and you both have the same classes normally I wouldn't do this considering how much trouble you cause but so far on her record she looks like a smart young lady and I'm hoping you won't corrupt her but I'm asking that you will see she makes it to all of her classes today with out getting lost." The teacher said I almost didn't believe my ears the teacher was basically telling me to protect her when I hurt so many others. "No promises but I'll try." I said Ina kinda sarcastic tone.

Haley rolled her eyes and came and sat by me ,we talked the whole class about mostly music I found out we were both really big music fans and loved the same genre too. At the end of class we walked out honestly I really started thinking this girl was pretty cool. I knew it could never work though I don't have ability to really care about any one anyways besides family I even shut them out sometimes... I used to be so happy and cheerful but the real me has been hidden for so long. I guess Haley realized that I had zoned out because she just looked at me and asks if every thing was ok. "Yeah it's whatever." I said trying to play it off cool. When i got to my locker Jaime and mike where at there's holding a boy. That's when it all went down hill.
