"We're outta this shit hole!" Brandon yelled slamming the backdoor behind us.
I laughed and adjusted my bag on my shoulder before Ms. B started shouting and Brandon gripped my arm pulling us into a sprint to the back of the backyard. I turned around and looked at her running out the house with a pot. I started laughing so hard and didn't notice when Brandon hopped over the fence I didn't realize was in front of me.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck." I moaned in pain as I bumped into the fence and scratched my arm.
"Come on thupid!" Brandon laughed but tried to put on a serious face while Ms. B steady came toward us. I stood up rolling my eyes and hopped over the fence so swiftly sticking my tongue out at him. He grabbed my arm again and we broke out into another sprint going through the neighbors' backyards and down the block to make sure we got away.
He started rapping while we walked along the curb and I made a beat with my hands and some pebbles I found. This is the type of friendship I love. Just being random and laughing with each other. No fake-ness. No judging. Just fun. This is why Brandon isn't just my best friend, he's more than that, even more than a brother to me. My world revolves around being around him or else I can't act like myself. We should've just been born as twins or something.
"And we're here." I smiled looking up at the semi-big house in front of us. I'm glad their house isn't far from ours. Nobody feels like walking some long ass distance.
That's just doing too much.
"Walk up then dumb ass." Brandon said unlocking his smart mouth.
"Bitch don't get me started." I walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. I stood looking around at the other houses before the door flew open.
"Waaassssssuuuuppp man." I looked up seeing Davion looking faded as hell.
"Damn, you're extra high."
"Nah girl I'm straight." He bust out laughing.
"Whatever. You know Brandon. You guys can... bond I guess." I shrugged and walked into the house putting my bag down on the couch and looked around admired the living room.
"Day is that bae?!" I heard Marcell's voice coming from the back. I shushed Davion before he could respond and walked to the back of the house where I heard his voice coming from.
I peeked inside the room to see him stretched out on a full sized bed. He was shirtless and had on blue basketball shorts and black and blue elite socks. He laid on his back with his eyes closed facing the window next to his bed.
I hope his floor isn't creaky so I can creep over to him. I held my breath as I took slow steps over to the bed praying not to make a sound and closed my eyes. I heard a loud sigh and when I opened them again I was right next to the bed.
I smiled seeing his cute face so peaceful and relaxed. I straddled him on the bed and bent my head down to peck him on the lips before he opened his eyes.
His grin was ear to ear when he saw me and I smiled wider at the sight. "What was that for?"
"You told me to come do it in person.. so here I am." I shrugged getting off his lap and laying next to him.
He lifted my head and put his arm under it to wrap around my shoulders. "I thought you was Day's high ass getting on me. I had to open my eyes first. Lord knows I would back hand him so far across this house and stomp him." He said chuckling putting his head in the crook of my neck.
I giggled and pushed his head up. "P-G."
"Nah what happened to needed VitaMarcell D?" He replaced his head and placed trials of little kisses around the side of it.
