"Thanks, Cisco," you say as he pays for ice creams for both of you.

"No prob, now you owe me one," he says.

"Two," you correct him.

It's been a week since you two left S.T.A.R. labs, finding shelter in abandoned buildings and busking for money.

You two sit on the edge of a peer. Your old, worn shoes slightly touching the water.

"How long will it take for them to notice we're gone?" you ask.

"I think they have already," Cisco says as he pulls out his phone. He shows you the multiple ignored texts from Caitlin and Barry.

He sadly smiles, "they don't see you like I do."

He stands up and hurls the phone into the sea.

You stand up with him so your height matches his.

"Why did you do that for?" you say, in a mix of confusion and anger.

He caringly wraps his arms around your waste and pulls you closer into a hug.

Drawing his emotion from him, you feel a mix of sensations. Feelings of true love, butterflies in the stomach. These emotions grow stronger and stronger, then these feelings stopped.

"You're right," he says in a slightly angry tone, "why did I just throw my phone in the sea!?"

He unhugs you and forcibly grabs your wrist and says "why should I even trust you?!"

"Cisco," you say alarmed, confused and scared, "what did I do?"

"You broke my fricking arm!" he yells.

"Dude, chill," you say.

"You are telling me to chill?!"

Then you realize, I'm stealing all his happiness, I need to give some back!

But you don't know how, no one gave you a manual for your powers. You just froze, doing nothing.

Then you remember, the emotion stabilizer, maybe it doesn't just stabilize your emotions, it steals others.

You focus really hard to try and take some of Cisco's negative emotion. This makes you angry but you don't care.

This causes Cisco to get really depressed, he lets go of your wrist. There is no physical contact, you can't take these sad emotions from him.

Then you have an idea, you have the power to take emotions naturally and the emotion stabilizer makes this power stronger. So if you put it on Cisco, you can swap his love feelings that you have, with his sad emotions.

You cross your fingers and take of the device, you palm the device in your hand and swiftly move it to the back of his neck.

You look directly into those brown eyes, and passionately kiss him. Directing all the happiness to him and receiving the sadness from him.

"(y/n)," he says, slightly shaking "thank you."

"Now I only owe you one," you smile, he grins back.

He peals the emotion stabilizer off his neck. "You have to wear this."

The sadness consumes you. Cisco notices, he slightly turns his head to the side.

"You okay?" he asks, he doesn't know that you stole all his negativity.

"Yeah," you lie, he doesn't buy it, "let's go,it's getting late."
