They all gather around the entrance of the gate as every team received their scrolls. Some were wondering on how to get the opposite scrolls. Some were clear of the understanding on the task.

After a couple of minutes they entered the vast Forest of Death. Many teams jumped up and disappeared from anyone's sight as the exam begins. Unlike the others, Naruto and his team were travelling at a slower pace than their average speed. Tree after tree, Naruto and Kurama sensed that the number of participants were slowly reduced into a mere half of the actual number. "Let's pick up the pace. Something's not right here." Naruto told the other two as they increased their speed. Naruto can't grasp it but, he can sense a faint presence of a snake within the area. They have to get to the other side of the forest and rendevouz with the Princess' team. He just sighed at what the princess told him earlier...

>Flashback<

"Hey~ Let's race." The princess said as she gave him an eye smile.

"Huh? A race?"

"Yep~☆ So... ready?"

"W-w-wait. Right now?"

"Of course~" the princess smiled and dashed out of his sight with her team on tow. Naruto could only just stare at the Princess with a blank expression.

"You know, sometimes that princess can be so childish." Kurama noted which was agreed by Susanoo. He sighed with a slight smile. 'It's so good to be alive...'

>Flashback Ends<

It's been three hours since he and his team set off to find the other opposite of the scroll they have. Naruto's was filled with thought about the recent activities they encountered. However, what bothers Naruto the most was the read hair girl. It was like, he knew her a long time ago. He felt the feeling of longing and sadness when he saw the girl. Moreover, he sensed the Kyuubi in her. This made Naruto look at Kurama while they were hopping from tree to tree.

"Kurama..." Naruto called in his mindscape. Although Kirama and Susanoo transformed and materialized their body into human form, they still have a link on Naruro's thoughts as Kurama has the seal and Susanoo has the necklace to communicate in Naruto's mind.

"I've been wanting to ask you something. It's just... I couldn't erase it in my thoughts. "

Kurama glanced at Naruto with an amused look on her face. ' Geez. This brat dont really know what to do without me.' She said in her mind with a smile.

"Ok, Shoot~"

"About that red haired girl..." Naruto said. However, Kurama upon hearing it, her smile vanished and her mood was darkened. She was expecting Naruto to compliment her or just talk about him and her. Then the aura around her had gone ominous, sulking. She then turned to Naruto.

Naruto just averted her eyes when he felt Kurama's aura. Her eyes were intimidating, if eyes could melt he would be on the ground melted right now. 'I wish my Mom wasn't like this when she gets mad. Girls are scary.' Naruto muttered inside of his head as he felt the chills climbing on his spines. That was when Kurama sighed and started to speak...

"So... What about her?" Kurama said while pouting. Naruto and Susanoo noticed it and muttered 'How Cute~'

"W-wh-wha-What?! If you don't have a question then don't ask~" Kurama said, completely embarrassed. It was then that Susanoo and Naruto let out an amusing chuckle.

"About that red head... I don't know why but, I can feel your chakra in her. The Kyuubi's chakra, I mean." Naruto couldn't help but to wonder. He can feel Kurama's chakra in her but there's a seal restricting it. 'Just who is that girl?' Naruto wondered. Kurama was silent. She didn't know how to reply. 'Maybe if I just tell her that she is his .....' Kurama thought.
