15 seconds of fame

it was but a fleeting moment

that ended all too soon

i went reaching for the stars

but instead, grasped the moon

it was such a sweet taste

i savoured the moments all

but it all too soon, turned sour

i took the inevitable fall

but i still hold to the memories

faded clippings adorn the wall

life took me in a different direction

then what i imagined my call
