Grayson's POV:

"Come on Ethan, dad said we HAD to leave town by 1:00 am before sunrise" I yelled at Ethan.

It was time for me and my brother to leave Los Angeles , we were going to a place called 'Mystic Falls'.
Our father told us we had to leave because there was a hunter in town looking for us.
Our mother was killed by a hunter when me and Ethan were human and little.

While I was waiting for Ethan I decided to look in the bag that our dad gave us to survive.
The first thing I pulled out was 2 rings. There was a note attached to it that said
"Dear Ethan and Grayson,
These are rings made from a witch that helps vampires out.
These rings will allow you to walk in the sun without getting burned."

To be honest it was hard to believe that these stupid rings could keep us alive.
But I wasn't taking any chances so I just put on the ring and when Ethan was walking down the stairs I tossed him the ring.

"What's this?" Ethan asked.

"Survival" I replied.

Ethan rolled his eyes and I passed him the note that our father gave us.

It was time to leave LA, me and Ethan got in my car and started driving to wherever 'Mystic Falls' (tvd😂) was.

When I was in the car driving Ethan was reading another note.
"Dear Ethan and Grayson,
You will be attending a school for the year, it's a few minutes A way from your house.
When you get there there will be a pair of house keys in the mail box.
There is supplies of blood in the basement.
If I survive I will come to see you boys.
Good luck.
Sincerely, Father"

" wait we GET OUR OWN HOUSE" Ethan shouted in excitement.

"No duh where would we sleep?" I replied

When we got to Mystic Falls it was about 12:46 pm. It was a very long drive.
When we finally got into the city there we saw a huge sign that said "Welcome to Mystic Falls".

I hit Ethan to wake him up from his nap.

"What the fuck Grayson!" Ethan yelled.

I laughed back.

When we got to the house it was a HUGE mansion that looked like a castle. You could tell it was made years ago.
When I grabbed the key I opened the door to see a fireplace, 2 couches, old bookshelves, and a bunch of other things too.
The first thing I did was run upstairs with my bags and "dibs" the biggest room before Ethan.
And of course I ended up getting it.

I kept making fun of Eth because his room was in the attic, but it was still pretty dope.
I started looking at the things In the room.
There was a bunch of old family photos, I recognized some of the people in the photo like my grandpa Zach.
But the only bad thing about the room was that it smelt like an old house which stunk so so bad.

A few hours later me and Ethan decided to take a walk around Mystic Falls cause we were board asf and needed something to do.
We walked past our new school. It was huge.
Ethan wanted to go inside but it was Sunday so basically that would be considered a break in.
I kept thinking of how we could survive school without sucking someone's blood or worse killing them.

When we were on our way home I saw the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen in my life. When I saw her it was like looking at love itself.
She had long brown hair with brown eyes that could just melt your heart.
She had the most gorgeous smile ever.
When i was admiring her looks Ethan waved in front of my face and me me snap out of it.

"Come on Gray" he said looking at the gorgeous girl.

"What?" I said confused and annoyed.

"Um hello your a vampire and she's a human, those two things don't go together well".

"And how do you know that" I asked Ethan.

"Cause every time one of us fall for a girl and we tell her what we are she freaks out and then we need to compel them to forget everything"

I just ignored Ethan and started walking home. I mean... Ethan did have a point but she was different then all of the girls, I had to know her. I had to have her. I already fell in complete love.
