Grayson's POV
I couldn't get her off my mind. Why did I feel for her in the first place? If I would have just listened to Ethan this wouldn't have happened.
I was craving blood so bad, i needed it, now.
I got out of my car and looked if anyone was outside. It was very late so there was a good chance no one was outside.
But then I saw a woman sitting on a bench on her phone, I heard her blood rushing through her veins.
I walked up to her and immediately compelled her to not scream, run, or do anything.
Was I really gonna do this? Was the old me back?
When I was getting lost in my thoughts before I knew it I was drinking her blood. I forgot how good fresh blood tasted.
I tried to stop myself but I couldn't. Then all the sudden, there she was, standing there.
"Grayson" Ariana said quiet.
I ignored her.
"Please stop, please, we can talk about this"
After a few seconds I decided to stop. Then i looked at Ariana.
"What do you want?" I asked not making eye contact.
"I want to talk to you" she said.
"What, about how im a murdering monster?"
"No, of course not" she replied.
"Just, heal her first" Ariana said.
"Fine" I sighed.
I gave the woman some of my blood and compelled her to forget what happened.
"Now what do you want?"
"Come home with me please, we can talk about all of this" Ariana said looking into my eyes.
"Why? Why would I go home with you when I could hurt you?"
"Because you love me"
When Ariana said that I froze and took a moment to realize what I just did.
Oh my god.
If I wasn't considered a monster to Ariana then I sure am now.
Then all the sudden Ariana grabbed my hands.
"And I love you" Ariana said holding my hands.
"What if I hurt you?" I said scared at the thought of hurting her.
"You won't I promise"
"We can work something out okay" Ariana said.
When Ariana and I were about to walk back to the house I stopped.
"Why? Why are you not scared?" I asked.
Ariana looked back and said "because I know you Grayson Dolan, I know inside your not a monster. Now let's go home" Ariana said reaching for my hand.
I grabbed her hand and we walked to my car. The drive was silent.
We got out of the car, we walked up to the door. We stood there looking at each other for a few seconds. Then.. We kissed. This time the kiss was different, I didn't feel like I couldn't be with her, I felt human.
Then all the sudden something sharp get shot into my back and I heard Ariana scream. Everything went blurry.
Ariana's POV
"NO" I screamed as Justin shot Grayson with something.
"No no no" I said mumbling starting to cry.
"He was a monster Ariana, we both knew that" Justin said walking towards me.
"No, GRAYSON ISNT A MONSTER JUSTIN, you are, you killed him"I said crying.
"Relax Ariana I didn't kill him, it's a Vervain dart it will just knock him out for awhile"
"What happened to the old Justin? The one that cared, always wanted me to be happy?" I asked sobbing.
"He left" Justin said as he called his friends out of his car to grab Grayson.
"NO" I yelled trying to stop them.
I wasn't strong enough.
They grabbed him and put him inside the car.
I can't believe it.
I was so in shock I couldn't move. What was Justin gonna do to him. I can't lose him.
When my brother and his friends drove off I didn't know who to call. Then. Ethan.
I could call Ethan he could get Grayson.
I took my phone out of my pocket and called Ethan.
"Ethan's pizza delivery service how may I help you?"
"Ethan!" I shouted.
"Oh hey Ari, what do you need"
"My brother, my brother and his friends took Grayson. I don't know what to do-" before I could continue Ethan interrupted me.
"Hey hey hey, it's okay I'll be over in a few seconds okay is gonna be okay where are you?"
"I'm at my house"
Then Ethan hanged up and got here in a matter of 10 seconds.
"Do you have any idea where they could be?" Ethan asked me.
"N-no I don't know"
"Think Ariana think of places, where would your brother run off too in free time?"
Then it hit me.
"Well my brother had a wear-house, it was near redwood street" I said.
"Okay, Ariana I need you to come with me" Ethan said.
"W-What"
"When I distract your brother and his friends you need to get Grayson okay"
I thought of backing out of this idea but I had to do it for Grayson. He deserves better.
"Okay" I replied.
"Okay let's go to the car"
