- friday -

the brunette laid on the couch with his lips parted, saliva running down one corner of his mouth. waking up, he raised his body so he sat with his legs still on the couch whilst his upper body in the air. he threw his arms out so his sleeves reached over his hands and heard a step beside him. he opened his eyes, only for them to be blurry, so he rubbed them with the sleeves then parted his eyelids again. jungkook stood before him with a stale face and arms resting on his sides, "i was just about to wake you up." he said before running his fingers through his hair with a confused expression. he kept getting faint visions once in a while when he neared the couch, stinging his brain in the process so he developed a pretty harsh migrane. "oh well," jeon shrugged it off. "i've prepared breakfast."
taehyung nodded with his normal pouty lips - which he always had in the mornings - and stood up as he arched his back. triggering more visions for jungkook.

deep breathing..

..sweat

he revealed another smug face before retreating into the kitchen to find another painkiller. the first one seemed to not work on the pounding head.

kim made his way into the kitchen before he felt his eyesockets with his bare hands. "jungkook.." he nudged the younger whom looked like he was in pain, "did.. something happen last night?" he referred to his dried tears. he always knew if he'd cried over the night when waking up. always having the same dry tears stuck onto his face. jungkook looked at him and bit his lip, deciding to keep the truth away from him. he shook his head and leaned on the counter as he gulped the pill down. "nope." kim looked suspiciously at jungkook, "are you sure? no sounds? no anything?"

"i'm sure." jungkook left the counter and grabbed a bowl for taehyung, placing it beside the cereal and milk. "i don't have much so this'll have to do for breakfast." taehyung nodded with a forced smile, coming off as a genuine one, "that's fine." jeon raised a brow before returning to his room without even glancing to the couch. he felt like it was cursed as soon as taehyung made contact with it.

kim poured in a reasonable amount of milk into the bowl and then poured in the cereal, grabbing the metal spoon from the counter and beginning to eat whilst having his back pressed against the marble counter top. the male furrowed his eyebrows when he felt the annoying tingling sense on his sockets. by now he was sure he had cried. and oh how it frightened him.

"taehyung." jeon said as they put on their shoes, kim bringing up his head to meet the others gaze, only to look down so he broke eye contact. "yes..?" taehyung stood straight, tightening his grip on his backpack. "we can not be seen walking together to school." the younger said, making taehyung feel a slight sting on his heart from pure sensetivity. yet, he kept a calm face.

instead of throwing a fit of feeling offended, he raised an eyebrow, "why?"

"i-" jungkook began, trying to come up with an excuse that wouldn't reveal that he cared even a little for the boy. "nevermind. you don't need to explain. it's okay. we'll keep the distance between us when approaching the building i guess." taehyung said, forcing a smile, and quickly made his way out of the apartment leaving jungkook stunned. he couldn't help but to feel a little bad, thinking that he may have hurt the boy's feelings. nonetheless, he shrugged it off and locked the door then made his way out of the building.

taehyung did feel a bit hurt, but he understood why jungkook would rather keep a distance from him. he knew how jungkook cherished his reputation like it was his own child. so he let it go. he didn't exactly like the guy either, it was more of his usual sensetive self that got hurt from jeons actions and words.

without even a minute passing by he had reached inside of the school, locker locked and his laptop held closely to his chest. he took a deep inhale, exhaling knowing it was just one day before the presentation. he did feel pressured by jungkook that oh-so had to desperately get a perfect grade. he did too, it was just the way jungkook talked to him that bothered him the most.

however, he did, in fact, go easier on him.

"jungkook," hoseok said in between munches, gaining the attention of the youngest amongst the seven boys, but without a glance. "you seem awfully quiet today." said the older, earning looks from the others, curiousity sparking between them. "i'm not." jeon denied the statement then went after his sandwich after sending a glare towards taehyung. a look that said "talk about our sleepover and i'll beat you up in an alleyway". taehyung let a small nod slip under the five other boys noses, only reaching to jungkook that then left his orbs from taehyung and onto his meal.

"really? because the silence says otherwise." park teased, nudging jungkook that didn't send him a glare, only just ignored him, triggering jimin. he didn't respond, earning an annoyed look from the older. "yah! don't ignore your hyung!" he joked with a smirk, glancing towards taehyung that was focusing more on the scenery rather than the current situation at their table, unusual, seeing as he usually looked around the group during a normal day.

jimin leaned back, "taehyungie..?"

kim raised his head with a furrowed brow, biting his tongue. "yes?" jimin sent a glance towards yoongi whom smirked, knowing exactly what he had to do. "do you have something to do with jungkooks silence?"

the male almost choked on his saliva, a troubled expression forming on his tanned face. "no? jumping to conclusions much?" kim responded and leaned back, it was time that he didn't become the target of the place. namjoon oo:ed earning a slap on his arm from seokjin whom flashed a smile towards taehyung.

"nope." the white haired paused, "just asking." he glanced between the two youngest again, his eyes folding nearly shut. "anyways," hoseok grabbed the attention once again, "how is everyone's presentations going? are you ready for tomorrow?" he crossed his leg and rest his head on his palms.

seokjin and namjoon nodded in synch, "as ready as i'll ever be. it's just a small presentation close to what we did in middle school." namjoon said with confidence, earning a few admiring looks from other tables that had eavesdropped on their conversation. totally not creepy - in taehyungs opinion that had noticed the girls that whispered about the males.

yoongi leaned back in his seat and shrugged, "it's been alright. piece of cake, really. kihyun got his skills in talking." jimin nodded and smiled, looking towards hoseok as a sign of him to talk about their progress.

hoseok got the hint and flashed a smile, "me and jimin have done great! finished it the very first week and have practised our speech ever since!" he paused to look at taehyung and jungkook that listened to the other boys. "well, jungkook, taehyung." the two males raised their heads towards hoseok that held the same smile. "how has your presentation gone?"

jeon shrugged, "fine, i guess." hoseok, a bit disappointed in the answer, turned to taehyung. hoping he would explain it furthermore. "well.. we finished it about a week ago. and we've been practising some days. i think we'll do good though." kim revealed a smile, ignoring jungkooks rather suspicious activity.

the group, especially jimin, smiled. proud that the two had done some teamwork. after all, teamwork makes the dream work.
