Elison Roben was moving half way across the country, to a place he was not familiar with. He would give up all he knew, and those he loved, because the world didn't know how to get over their pitty arguments. He had lived in Sacramento since he was a child, and now 15 years old, was moving all the way to Maryland. Upset at the fact that he would be leaving all he's known since being a small child, he was actually very excited for the change. He looked out the small, scratched window seperating him from the cabin, and the sky. He had to have already taken a thousand pictures with his camera of the fluffy cotton balls of clouds. Space had run out, and he could no longer capture the pure essence of the baby blue sky surrounding him. He rested his arm on the seat, placing his head in his hand, and let out a sigh. He had never been so bored. His only passions were photography and music, both of which, were not passionate of him at the moment. He reached for the bag of Skittles in his carry on under the seat in front of him. At that moment, acceleration took place and Elison was forced forward, "Ouch!" He shouted as he grabbed the top of his head, rubbing it to ease the pain. Skittles in hand, he carefully opened the bag, reaching in to see what color he would grab first. "Yellow." He said to himself, putting the skittle into his mouth. He continued this for the remainder of the plane ride, then when the landing was getting ready to take place, he quickly shoved the bag into his hoodie pocket and sat eagerly at the edge of his seat. He braced himself for the landing, as he was told it was very rough, holding on to the seat in front of him. The sound of the intercom came above as the piolets voice said, "Welcome to Maryland ladies and gentalmen!" Elison giggled at excitement In the tone of the piolet. As he held on tight to the seat, the planes wheels met the ground, and he released. "Wasn't too bad, for my first ride I guess." He said to himself once more, then unbuckled his seatbelt waiting for the plane to come to a holt. When it finally did, he gathered his carry on and his camera then sat up in his seat. He saw the top of his mother's head over a crowd of people trying to reach for their luggage on the over head storage. He waved to her as she exited the plane as he did the same. The two met at the dugout, where they exchanged hugs and words for the first time in many long, uncomfortable hours. "How was your first plane ride Elison?" Elison looked up at his mother with a tired smile and said, "pretty good I guess." She smiled back as they began to walk to their car pick up. Elison, looked around the large, but not to big airport and saw many faces that were all new. He took a deep breath and said, "It's a new beginning."
