A few weeks had pasted since Sam and Eli first met. They were now pretty close friends, and they both knew almost everything about each other. It was an early Saturday morning. The sun had just rose and Eli was fast asleep in his bed. Posters of his favorite bands and masterpiece photos covered his walls, along with a few photos of him and his new friends. Eli's mother quietly entered the room, making sure to avoid the heaps of clothes on the floor. She creeped over to his bed and shook him to awaken him. He turned over on his side and saw his mother, then turned back over to continue to sleep. She rolled her eyes then hit his side and walked out of the room. Eli laid on his side, staring at the wall in front of him. He was now very much awake and couldn't go back to sleep, "thanks mom." He said to himself. He slowly sat up in bed and let out a sigh, thoughts racing through his head. "What time is it.... Not like it really matters, I'm not doing anything today anyways... Wait...." He snapped out of his thoughts. "Oh yeah! I have that sleepover with Sam today!" He got up out of bed and grabbed his phone to check the time. "I have to be at his place by 6... And it's 2:56." He smiled at the thought of being at Sam's house in three hours. He unlocked his phone and went to his texts. His eyes widened when he found he had 30 texts waiting for him. "Who the hell was texting me.... Sam?" He found that all 30 texts had come from Sam, majority of them being messages saying "DUDE ANSWER YOUR PHONE." As he read the last message he felt panic. He read it aloud, "Coming over.... BE THERE IN 15 minites!?" He realized that the message was sent 10 minutes ago, and he would be there in approximately 5 minutes. Eli threw his phone down on the bed and stretched before grabbing some clothes then getting ready. He ran into the bathroom and fixed his hair, as it was a wavy mess, then he heard a knock on the door. Downstairs, Eli's mother opened the door to find Sam standing their with his hands in his pockets. "Hi Mrs. Roben, im here to-" "Elison is just upstairs." She let him in and shut the door behind him as Sam ran up the stairs to Eli's room. He slowly opened the door to find Eli siting at his window taking pictures of the green trees outside. The door creaked as Sam entered, alerting Eli that Sam was there. "Hey Sam." He snapped the last picture before getting up and approaching Sam. Sam gave him a look, almost like he knew something. "What?" Sam rolled his eyes, "You just woke up didn't you." Eli acting shocked, playfully answered. "Whaaaaaaaat?? Noooo..... Ya I did." The two of them laughed as they walked to Elis bed and plopped themselves down, letting out deep sighs. Sam turned to Eli. "You haven't even packed your bag yet have you." Eli, looking down at his phone, replied quickly. "Nope." Sam got up from the bed, picked up an empty bag and shoved clothes along with a toothbrush in it. As he opened one of the drawers, Eli shot up out of bed, and quickly shut the drawer. "NO! Uh, that's okay, I'll pack it myself." Eli snatched the bag from his hand and hovered over the slightly open drawer. Sam jumped back confused, wondering what he was hiding. "What's wrong? Do you have something to hide?" Eli hesitated to answer, flustered and face red. "N-no! Not at all, I just, uh, I don't like people going through my drawers that's all." Sam gave him a sly look, but replied "ok" and they both continued to pack. Bags packed and ready to go, Sam looked down at his watch. "Its only 3:30, but we can leave now if you'd like." Eli's eyes looked alive as he grabbed the packed bag, and his phone shouting "let's go!" on his way out of the bedroom. Sam followed behind Eli and ran downstairs giving a farewell to his mother before they both exited house. The two boys got in the car, as Sam sat at the wheel, "Dude were gonna have so much fun." Eli, slightly blushing threw his bag in the back of the car, and faced forward. "You bet!" Many hours pasted with gaming and snacking along the way, and the two boys were now settled down in Sam's room. They sat on the floor legs crossed and conversating about girls. Sam looked at Eli, tired, and Eli looked at Sam. "I'm gonna put on some clothes to go to bed." Eli, looking down at his phone, turned it off and did the same. It wasn't so much of putting different clothes on as it was taking them off. Eli took off his shirt and put on some shorts and sam did the same. Eli turned around and saw Sam taking off his shirt and he covered up his mouth, feeling noises about to exit it. "Oh crap.... I have never seen Sam with his shirt off, oh god. No, not now!" Eli quickly sat down on the ground and grabbed his phone to cover his face. Sam sat down in front of him with a big sigh. "Alright. So I guess we're just gonna sleep on the floor right?" Eli looked up at Sam, gulping and nodding his head. Sam paid no attention to Eli's weird attitude and grabbed a blacket to lay down. As soon as he turned around, Eli laid down and turned over on the opposite side not facing Sam. Sam's mother opened the door to the room peaking her head through, and Eli grabbed the blacket and threw it over his waist. "Goodnight boys." In unison, Eli and Sam both wished her a good night and she shut off the lights closing the door. Sam mumbled to Eli, notifying him he would be going to sleep now, and Eli replied okay. The two boys drifted to bed, and slept through the night. Morning rose, and Eli began to wake up. He felt a warm hand compressing his shoulder, and he looked back to find Sam very close to him and his arm over Eli. Eli started fidgeting and felt his face get warm, and Sam started to wake up too. Sam opened his eyes, feeling a body close to his chest, and gasped a little. He took his arm away, as he looked at Eli thinking he was still asleep. Eli didn't move and stayed still, paralysed by fright. Sam hesitated for a moment but then moved closer to Eli and put his arm back over him, falling asleep once more.
