during chorus, chaeyoung was nowhere to be seen. everyone wondered where the smaller girl could've ran off too, but no good ideas were suggested. choir was chae's favorite class of the day, why would she choose to skip it? at first, dahyun thought that maybe she had run off with tzuyu, yet she soon realized that the brunette was present in the room, and just as confused as they were. it would be a lie to say that the youngest girl wasn't worried. tzuyu was really hoping for the girl to be in so they could be partners in the vocal warm ups. that would have to come for another day.

jihyo said that maybe she was late like that one time when she walked in with tzuyu. she remembered when they were all nervous too and having this exact conversation. jihyo couldn't help but think it was déjà vu. after suggesting her idea, the straightest girl in the group took a long look around before leaning over towards her friends.

"guys, we have a slight problem," jihyo whispered to the group. she kept her eyes at the front of the room of course, knowing her teacher watched every single move any of her students made. jeongyeon and dahyun looked over at their friend but quickly went back to pretending to mouth the lyrics to the song they were currently singing.

"what is it?" nayeon asked, having been right next to jeongyeon and heard what the shorter girl had said. all eyes had turned to the brunette as she just looked back at them and shrugged. "what? its not like we have to keep our friendships on the down low anymore," nayeon replied while rolling her eyes. jeongyeon just nodded, knowing the older brunette had a point, and motioned for jihyo to continue.

the other girl shook her head. she looked back at the choir teacher as she moved to sit by the piano and play the corresponding chords to the song. "there is one more person missing besides chaeyoung," she revealed.

dahyun looked around not really paying attention to anyone in the class. if someone outside of her and tzuyu's group was not present, she would not have even known. "who?" she questioned as everyone turned the page from their sheet music.

"mina."

the youngest girl in current group looked over at everyone standing in the rows, trying to search for the mina's face. she found momo and sana goofing off in the corner, not looking like they cared if they got caught messing around. they did though, but since they were usually well behaved, all the teacher gave them was just dirty looks. dahyun shook her head, she needed to hurry up and claim sana as her partner in choir.

the younger girl also saw tzuyu standing behind the two as she slapped the older blonde in the back of her head with her sheet music to tell them to knock it off. tzuyu looked a little annoyed. on top of that, she saw the brunette frequently glancing up at the door, and dahyun smirked as an assumption already came into her mind.

another tally.

her head then turned to the many other people in chorus that she didn't really pay attention to and every one seemed in place, well, the people she actually recognized that was. she had to agree with jihyo; both girls were missing. dahyun couldn't fight off the panic feeling that was overwhelming her. she didn't know what to pinpoint it as seeing as both the girls were her friends.

"you don't think..." jeongyeon's voice trailed off as she left the chat up for open discussion. the short haired brunette then leaned over to take a look at the door, hoping to god chaeyoung walked in alone.

"no, no i mean they can't be hooking up, right?" jihyo responded back in disbelief. she liked both of them as friends, but those two together wasn't really a perfect match. mina was a junior dating a freshman, those relationships usually never work out. she shook her head and started again, "chaeyoung isn't that naive to-"
