• chapt. 35 | where she wanted to be

"tzuyu, i dont want to do homework right now!" chaeyoung whined after the brunette had told her to get the work out from her bag. the smaller girl was not accustomed to doing homework directly after school. she was more of the do it before the period it was due type of girl, so when the brunette had told her to get all her assignments out, you could imagine her surprise.

tzuyu sighed as she threw herself on the smaller girl's bed and opened the book they had to read for english. "if i am going to be staying here, then i am going to make sure you are doing your homework," she concluded, moving to face the glaring girl.

"but i'd much rather lay down with you," chaeyoung replied as she slid into her bed and snuggled close to her girlfriend.

"i know, i know," tzuyu replied as she began to play with chaeyoung's hair. "but i dont want you failing your classes this quarter."

"then that means you could tutor me again," chaeyoung smirked, inching her way closer towards the brunette.

"maybe you're right," tzuyu responded back with a smile. "you might just need tutoring for another subject, not just math," tzuyu said for the second time, hinting that there was another meaning to it other than when she playfully said those words on the way to chorus.

chaeyoung grinned having heard the familiar line and pulled the brunette closer. she stared into tzuyu's eyes as she bit her lip. "well, maybe i do," she responded before clashing their lips together in a passionate kiss.

tzuyu kissed her back with more force as she moved to get on top of the smaller girl. chaeyoung's hands ventured along the brunette's curvy body as her left hand settled on the tzuyu's right cheek. her right hand snaked over to the brunette's thigh, running her fingers gently over it before giving the girl a tight squeeze.

tzuyu moaned

she pulled away to stare in shock at the smaller girl, obviously not expecting herself to release that kind of sound. just as she was having second thoughts about what they were currently doing, chaeyoung just smirked, thinking it was rather hot, and pulled tzuyu back down for a second round.

"okay no this is not happening," momo screamed as she burst through the door. tzuyu and chaeyoung stopped their make out session to stare over at the blonde in shock. "we have a family meeting in five minutes. y'all better be down there or else im going to come back up here and drag you both one by one," momo threatened before turning away and slamming the door.

tzuyu and chaeyoung just looked at each other before the brunette got off the smaller girl and started playing with her lips.

"well, i take it she's ecstatic that we are dating," chaeyoung joked as she sat up from the bed. tzuyu just playfully rolled her eyes as she got up from her seat and stood by the bed. she held her hand out for chaeyoung as the smaller girl grabbed it and smiled. tzuyu pulled the girl up off of the bed and brought her downstairs.

everyone was sitting in the room except for momo. she was pacing back and forth. when she saw the pair making their way down the stairs, she shook her head. "okay, the family meeting is now in session. none of you better interrupt me," the blonde snapped at the others in the room. they all nodded, a little frightened. momo then turned back towards the two girls as they went to stand at the opposite side of the room from the steaming older girl. "first, i would like to say that i am happy that you guys are dating now, truly happy. it just warms my heart to know the two little ones are finally at peace," momo said sarcastically.

"what heart?" jeongyeon whispered into jisoo's ear, causing the girl to choke on her drink.

"however, i would like to know why you two didn't think to tell me, or us for that matter, that you guys were getting a little too friendly. i mean would it have killed you both to give us a little update? i had to find out from someone who passed by both of you in that little steamy session of yours this morning which by the way needs to be stopped. and then i find out that you, sana, didnt say anything to me about it! why was i the last to find out?" momo questioned, eyeing the two carefully. everyone furrowed their brow as they comprehended what the blonde had just said.

"wait, that's it?" nayeon asked, a little confused.

momo turned to her girlfriend. "what?"

"that's what you are mad about? that they didn't tell you?" jennie finished for her best friend. nayeon gave her a smile as jennie slyly winked at her. momo rolled her eyes as she went back to lean against the wall.

"damn, we thought you were furious that they were dating. period," jihyo added, now being able to sit straighter in her seat.

it was safe to say that chaeyoung and tzuyu's heart calmed down as they took a deep breath.

"well, yeah," momo replied with sass. "hello, aren't you guys a little pissed too?"

"uhm pissed is a little extreme," rosé chimed in. she looked towards the couple and shrugged, "i'd say like just a little taken aback that they didn't tell us sooner, like the day they actually became a couple."

"yeah," the others agreed. everyone turned to look at the pair as they nervously looked at each other, not knowing what they should say. this was not the way they initially planned to tell their unnies that they started to date. oh well, things usually never turned out the way they planned out in this story.

finally, tzuyu bit her lip and decided to speak for the both of them. "look, we wanted to tell you guys, really, but we were trying to find the best way to break the news."

"chewy-ah, you act like you would have anything to worry about with this kind of information," dahyun said as she stood up and walked over to both of the girls.

chaeyoung let go of tzuyu's hand to cross her arms slightly. "uhm, actually we were kind of worried about how sana and momo would have taken the news."

all eyes shifted towards the two as momo and sana bit their lips.

"well, i already did my scolding this morning," sana replied, shrugging slightly. "i mean sure, it came as a bit of a shock and i was 100% against it, but you know, i realized that i only want my little chewy-ah to be happy," the blonde said shyly. dahyun smiled as she went back to hug her girlfriend. sana just playfully rolled her eyes and hugged the other girl back.

"same," momo said. she looked over at chaeyoung, "you even knew that i had accepted you as wanting to be with tzuyu when i pulled you away during lunch. besides, you did save her, and she wouldn't have been here if it weren't for you." chaeyoung and momo exchanged smiles.

"thanks momo, and we really are sorry that we didn't tell you guys sooner," chaeyoung said with pleading eyes. the others just dissed it off, saying that they probably would've figured it out sooner or later anyway.

after everything was said and done, lisa stood up from her seat. "well, now that that is over, how about we get some ice cream?" she smiled, bringing jennie over towards the kitchen. everyone followed suit and soon they had all gotten their desired flavors. tzuyu and chaeyoung shared a bowl, seeing as both of them were filled with too much excitement to properly eat one bowl each. 

chaeyoung looked over at tzuyu as the brunette went over to hug both sana and momo. she smiled at the fact that they were finally together, that her feelings could now be openly expressed. the smaller girl couldnt help but get emotional at the very thought that tzuyu really was hers, and when the brunette came back and playfully shoved ice cream on her cheek, she knew that this was where she wanted to be.
