Noah danced around her room in different outfits and styles she could go to the Drive In in. She had her music practically blaring as she was the happiest she had been in in months. She had friends, she had a boy she liked that was even talking to her.

As Noah sat down to do her makeup she thought about it. Even if he didn't like her like that, she just really liked who he was as a person. She would be happy to have Juggie as a best friend. They just clicked so well together, they worked well. She appreciated she didnt have to try to be someone else with him. She could be the worst version of herself, and it would still be the best.

She finally decided to go with her coziest grey sweater, with light-wash jeans and booties to fight the cold. She put her glasses on, deciding against her normal contacts, and a black watch.

She was happy with herself. This had been the brightest outfit she'd been wearing recently. It reflected her inside. She was proud to be the kind of girl her dad believed her to be. Someone he could actually he proud of. She got ready to leave, shoving a couple dollars into her jeans and her phone from the charger.

Noah turned her music off, getting ready to head out the door, and took one last look at the mirror that hung on the back of her door. She started messing with and trying to perfect her carefully done carefree wavy hair when she started hearing muffled voices on the other side of the door. Her Dad was the only one here, she thought.

With her ear pinned to the door, she eavesdropped on a conversation.

"You're late, Hermione." Her dads hurried and hushed voice said.

"I had to make a pit stop." A womans voice, it sounded just like Hermione Lodge. As in Veronicas mother. "And as we discussed, William... A donation to your daughters college fund. And Lodge Industries gets the Twilight Drive-In."

"I promise, it's one of the most prime pieces of real estate in Riverdale. It's not a bad deal." Her dad said, "No one can know that I knew the buyer was Lodge Industries. Especially not the Blossoms. They threatened my daughter when they found out I sold to someone other than them."

"Your secret will be safe with me. And so will Noah, we love her. We wouldn't want anything to happen to your little girl. So long as you hold up your end of the bargain." Hermione's heels were heard leaving the small home.

"You better be right. I can't lose another child. Not like this, again." He said, and Noah ripped her ear away from the door.

Noah's mouth was gaping open by the time the front door was shut just down the hall. It took everything to wait a few minutes before opening the door. The minutes were spent wondering if she could tell anyone, even her father.
