Ezreal

It's blurry.

Lights are flashing, a colorful pattern streams from my vision. Complete silence, like I'm completely underwater. I hear a drop. Was it water? Blood? Sweat? My cheeks feel soaked. Oh, I'm crying. Why am I crying? Joy? Sorrow? Fear? I feel this, vibe. One that makes you feel that, you're so close, so close, that you can grasp it in your hand. But it has a sense of distance, a very long distance. How?

A dark figure appears in front of me, a figure that resembles someone I know, somebody I knew. It seems to be a woman, a very familiar one. Another dark figure comes into the scene. It seems to be of the opposite, quite tall actually.

They approach me closing the long distance between us in a few steps. It feels like they're walking on water, but they're not. The sound seems so, but they're not. Each step they take, my head keeps flashing images. As they get closer, it keeps getting more and more familiar, but I still can't pinpoint it. It's always frustrating when that happens.

The lady places her hand on my left cheek, then brushes the bangs upwards on my forehead with her other hand. She closes the gap between my ear and her mouth, she whispers.

"H..L..-" The voice whispers.

I still couldn't quite make it out, but I'm reacting differently, but I didn't mean to, or want to. My hair is standing up, the temperature is dropping. I could see the chill as I breathe out.

"-s..on."

At least I could understand one thing. But I didn't feel relief in one word, in fact it's getting harder to breathe. My lungs are giving up, I'm breathing water. Blub, blub, blub. My vision becomes blurry again, they slowly fade away, everything is ringing, ringing, ringing. Ding-ding-ding.

Mom, Dad.

My eyes open, I quickly raise my torso in an instant. Thump. I hit my head, against something. It was soft, but it hurt me for some reason. The impact, probably. I rub my palm against my forehead, left and right, left and right, repeated strokes to soothe the pain. I open my eyes and see Lux on the floor doing the same thing. I quickly throw the blankets aside and jump of the bed. I rush to her, and kneel down on the floor. I take her hand off her forehead and rub her forehead. Left and right too. I'm panicking, this was my doing.

"Lux, I am so, so sorry. I didn't mean to, I was just surprised. I didn't know you were there-" Before I could finish my sentence, I could notice something odd.

She was red, hot red. And by that, I do too. A chain reaction, I knew mine wasn't a fever, but hers...

"Uhh, Lux... You alright? You seem a little, red... Are you sick?" I say as I pat the back of my hand on her forehead, then on her neck.

"I'm alright! I'm alright! I'm just a little..." Lux says as her voice slowly fades away and starts to mutter it.

"You're just..." I say, encouraging her to continue her unfinished explanation.

"You know..." She keeps muttering, she's hinting me it, but she couldn't say it. She wouldn't say it.

I get it, but it's more amusing to hear her see it, but I see she's not gonna say it, so I just act in a surprised manner to give a false understanding.

"Oh! Sorry, sorry." I say, and look at her to see what reaction comes out.

She just blushes harder. Damn. Shouldn't have. I think of another topic to get our minds of it, and I do.

"So... why we're you on top of me?" I ask.

Oh god, oh god. That came out so wrong, I look at her, and judging from her reactions, I can she gets it to, but realizes that's not what I meant.
