Hey, guys! It's me here, again with another author's note. I hope you liked the early update, or early in my book, literally and figuratively.
I'd like to inform you that for the upcoming chapters, my writing style may vary, a lot. It's not that I don't like the way that I write, it's just that I feel that it could be better.
I've been reading and analyzing a wide variety of books from different authors. And as far as I could tell, I'm currently admiring the official story writing style of League of Legends, that usually happens within character lores or character promotions.
It's basically being detailed without adding too much detail. It actually lets your mind does the work, while not flooding the book with obvious details, which I don't need to state. For example my mandatory addition of labels after dialogues. I plan on alleviating that style of labeling, and aim for something more advanced.
Like making their way of talking more unique and add labels, which might include actions or extra gestures whenever it's just dialogue without labels simultaneously. And leaving the readers to analyze and use context to figure out who's talking, so I could make the chapter less cooped up.
I'm currently trying to improve my vocabulary and the figures of speech I use, to make it more interesting and relatable. I know that I should be myself and stop basing my work off of other people, but the real 'myself' is evolving until I cannot.
And whenever I add pictures, I usually do it for new characters that play a major role in that specific chapter. So characters from cameos or references will have a less likely chance of earning a picture.
That's all for this author's note, don't forget to vote up each and every chapter, have a great day!
