Its gonna be New Year later, is Peridot going home? What if she is? Should I come too? "Hey Peri, are you going home later?" I said crossing my fingers behind me. "Nah, I dont want to see Jasper again." She said looking through the window. Whew, that was a close one. "Are YOU going home later?" Peridot asked. "No, I just want to spend the whole day inside this room." Well that was awkward. 😐😐😐
2 HOURS LATER
"Hey Lazuli, sorry about the other day. I wanted to make it up for you so here we are!" She said throwing her hands in the air. We're on the rooftop of the dormitory. "And since I know you like drinking.... I have us a bucket of beer!" She said happily while showing me the basket. "You know what would go great with beers and the view for fireworks? Tent! Ill go get it, just a sec." I said hurriedly. When I came back, I saw Peridot looking at the view. "Look at it Lazuli, isnt it beautiful?" Peridot asked. "Well the view from up here is great but you know what's greater than that?" I said. "Wut?" She asked. "Helping me set this tent." When we were done setting everything up, it was finally time for the fireworks to show up.
PERIDOT
Lazuli looks like someone i know. I think she looks like Pearl? No i dont think so. Who is that girl?! OMG who are you mysterious girl? I need to know who promised me that. "Hey Lazuli, can you do me a favor?" I started. "What is it?" She said without looking at me. "Can you help me find this girl who promised me something at the lighthouse." I said. "W-why would you do that? I thought you already f-forgot her?" She said still looking at the fireworks. "Well its just bugging me out cause its been years and she went to another country and we havent connected yet so im thinking we should go and find her."
It went silent for awhile there, could it be Lazuli? "Y-yeah sure, ill be glad to help." Something smells salty here, oh wait it was the chaaaps lol. A little bit later, she sat right beside me and asked "Peri, if you find your long lost friend will you still hang out with me?" What's that suppose to mean? "Ofcourse I will, wait are you?" "No its not that, its just that i dont usually hang out with other teens, and your like the first person who I became closed with."
"You know what Lazuli, we should just call it a night and drink for the whole midnight!" I said throwing my drink up above while the fireworks explodes. "Happy new year Lazuli." I whispered only she can hear. "Happy new year Peridot." She said smiling.
