Sasuke's POV
Getting ready for the day was never fun to me, but today, I kinda look forward to it. The first day of the last week of school. I wonder what will be in store for us.
With that thought, I venture out of the Uchiha mansion, walking out towards the Academy. My mind wanders again to who I'm going to get as team members. Based on the system, the top ranked, middle ranked, and lowest ranked will all be a team. Since I'll be top ranked, I can at least try to guess the lowest ranked and know one of my teammates before the exams even start.
The chubby kid is pretty bad, and so are the fangirls. Dear god, if I get a fangirl on my team I'm gonna-
"Yo, duck-boy! Wait up!"
Duck-boy?
I turn around to come face to face with Naruto and I groan.
"What do you want, Naruto?"
She tilts her head to the side, as if confused by my comment. "I just wanna walk with someone I know to school. Seems less boring than walking alone, ne?"
"What's my name?"
"Huh?"
"Tell me my name and you can walk with me," I give in, a little annoyed at the fact that she didn't remember my name. Everyone knows my name.
"Uchiha," she answers, cowering a little bit, knowing it's not the right answer.
"First name."
"Don't tell me- it starts with an S, right?"
I nod and she continues to try and remember.
She scrunches up her face in the most adorable- annoying! - manner, and suddenly her face lights up. "Sasuke! I remember now! Sorry about that," she chuckles, scratching her head.
"Alright, works for me," I say, and continue to walk, trying to play it cool even after the feeling in my stomach came when she said my name.
"Believe it!" she shouts, and follows me. "So, what's your favorite color?"
"I don't have one," I tell her, but I know that's a lie. Truthfully it was black, but that would be too stereotypical.
"Orange," she tells me. She laughs. "In case you couldn't tell."
The feeling in my stomach returns as she laughs, and I blame it on my training yesterday. I shouldn't have pushed myself so far.
"It's your turn."
"Hm?"
"To ask a question," she explains. "What fun would it be if I was the only one asking questions? It'd be like an interview."
"Ok." I think for a moment before asking. "What's your favorite animal?"
"Fox," she tells me.
I should have guessed from the mask.
"I like ravens."
She nods and smiles. "So, you're favorite color is black, and you like ravens."
"I said I didn't have a favorite color."
She gives me a look as if I had just said the dumbest thing in the world. "It's black, isn't it?"
I stay silent and she laughs. "Favorite food?"
"Tomatoes."
"Ramen."
"Never would have guessed."
She laughs again and puts her elbow on my shoulder. "Wow, you've got a good eye."
"I'm a Uchiha. Of course I do," I say with a smile.
"Oh, yes. That thought must have slipped my mind oh great and powerful Uchiha," she jokes, moving her arm off of me.
"Your idol?"
"Fourth Hokage."
"My late mother."
"Something you're afraid of?" she asks, completely moving on from me talking about my dead mother. I appreciate that.
"Nothing. I am completely fearless," I tell her.
"Being alone," she answers.
"Being honest," I admit.
"The truth does hurt sometimes doesn't it?" she says with a sad smile.
I nod and she continues. "Fair enough."
"What's your happiest memory?"
"Someone gave me a mask yesterday," she says as the Academy comes into view. "Believe it."
"And that's your happiest memory?"
"Well, it's a close match between that and going to Ichiraku's for the first time," she laughs.
I smile.
"So what about you?"
The school doors are right in front of us now, and I open them for Naruto. "This conversation," I mumble.
"What? I didn't hear you?"
"I said I don't know."
"As in, too many or not enough?"
"Not enough."
She nods. "Alright."
We walk into the classroom and sit down where we always do, and this time, she smiles at me. "I wonder what we're gonna be doing today," she says.
"Same here. I hope it's something interesting."
"I can't imagine it'll be too boring," she says. "Unless they decide to lecture us on the exam coming up and how important it is." She rolls her eyes.
I snicker. "That's probably what they're going to do."
"Oh joy," she fakes enthusiasm. "I just can't wait. How can I hold this excitement in?"
"You can't," I joke. "You must make a sign for the whole world to see how excited you are."
She smiles, and the feeling in my stomach returning. Only this time, I don't brush it off. This time, I smile at it.

NL4ver- I promised this within two chapters, but my plan kinda crumpled and I wrote this instead. I quite like it though, so here's your fluff sooner than expected!
