We met on a sunny Autumn day.
The breeze in our hair,
Bathed in dappled light.
But it was a Secret.
We walked a while,
Under the towering trees,
Just you and me.
But it was Forbidden.
I gazed into your eyes,
Deep blue sky.
You gazed into mine,
Soft warm hazel.
We wispered sweet nothings
Long into the night.
I dreamt of you,
Missed you,
Needed you.
Your gentle voice
In my ear.
Telling me everything,
I had ever wanted to hear.
And I knew,
Right then,
That you would love me
'Til the end.
