You cringed with every creaky step up the stairs you took, shocked that you weren't having any encounters. When you finally reached the attic, the groans of the floor boards were more subtle than those of the stairs.

The attic was gigantic to say the least. The setting was similar to that of a laboratory. There were carts of books and papers forming pathways in different directions. You walked through one of the paths, observing all of the papers strewn about, as well as various medical supplies. The place was messy, but clean nonetheless.

You stopped to inspect some of the papers and saw notes written down on some of them. You couldn't make out the handwriting, it was definitely that of a doctor. There was a drawing on one of the papers that caught your eye. It was of a blade almost exactly like the one Darkiplier showed you. The writing on this paper was more legible than the others, as if someone had written each word with great care.

I've found it. A knife that could kill anything it slices, no matter where the wound is. I don't know what gives it its power, but I'll be damned if I can't figure it out.

Such a weapon would be of great value to me, but it is unclear of who may be the owner. I have my theories, but none have enough proof to go off. If I could harness this raw energy into something else...

The rest of the writing had been scribbled out. You crumbled the paper and stuck it into your pocket. You knew that this scientist absolutely could not get his hands on that knife. Wait, Dark wasn't wearing his coat... Oh fuck.

You picked up your pace, scanning the area for any glinting items. You had to find the blade, but you knew it would probably be where the doctor was. Great.

You wandered along the twisting paths until seeing a man in a white lab coat, sitting in front of multiple computer screens. He was typing away furiously, concentrated purely on the work in front of him. You ducked behind one of the carts, peaking back at him.

You gazed upon his workspace and noticed a black book that greatly resembled Dark's diary/spell book. Dark's coat was laying on the ground next to the man, the pockets appeared to be empty.

You sneaked out from behind a cart and moved slowly in his direction. As you got closer, you saw that something silver was sitting in front of him. It was the knife! Man, this guy was kinda stupid having it out in the open, but he probably didn't get visitors often.

"Excuse me?" You cleared your throat, getting his attention. The man jumped, startled by your voice.

"Yes, (Y/N)?" He turned around in his chair, his face was calm. You hated that all of these egos knew your name. It was kinda creepy.

"You're Doctor Iplier, right?" You ask, stopping so that you were only a foot away from him.

"The one and only." He gestured towards himself, smiling. "Do you have an appointment?"

"An appointment?" You said nervously, "No, I-"

"I'm kidding, relax a bit." He chuckled, "What brings you here?"

"I need your help," You glanced at the floor, choosing your words carefully. You can't fuck this up. "I have to get out of here with Dark and Mark."

"What makes you think I can help you?" He raised an eyebrow, he stood up out of his chair.

"Well, Dark said, um-" You felt your anxiety threatening to take control of your body, "That you did something to him and he can't fix it. Can you restore him?"

"I can." He stated simply, crossing his arms. "But why should I?"

"Because it's the right thing to do." You replied but he didn't respond. He stared at you expeting another offer. "What can I do to convince you?"

"Well," He smiled, walking closer to you. He put his hands on your waist, "It's been a while since I've fucked somebody."

"What the fuck!" You shoved him away from you. "Absolutely not."

"Then you won't be receiving my services." He scoffed, "Dark won't return to his normal self without my interference."

"Please, there has to be something else." You begged, trying to think of something. "I can free you from Wilford."

"How?" He said skeptically, crossing his arms.

"Look, we have this thing that would remove Wilford from the outside world." You tried not to give too much away, knowing you can't trust this doctor. "He wouldn't be able to escape."

"Well?" He questioned, "What is it?"

"I can't tell you all of the details," You kept your eyes on him, trying to get him to move away from the knife. "There's a place that will keep him there for as long as we want."

"Why should I trust you?" He raised an eyebrow, uncrossing his arms.

"You haven't heard back from Wilford yet, have you?" You countered, "With all of this commotion going on in the house, he would be back by now."

"Fair enough." He seemed satisfied with your answer.

"And," You gave him a small smile, "With your brilliance, we could make it even more unlikely that he could get out."

"Will I have a place to conduct my research?" He cut to the chase.

You nodded, hoping the bunker had some sort of lab in it. It had a huge ass library, so it probably had a laboratory somewhere.

"Fine." He walked closer to you as you backed away, "But if this doesn't fall through and you're lying to me, I will make this change in Dark permanent. Understand?"

"Yes." You said, ready to get this mission underway. You decided that the knife might be a problem for another day. You needed The Doctor on your side for the time being.

"How long will it take to fix Dark?" You worried about Dark, eager to get him back to his old self.

"A week for him to fully revert back to normal, assuming he responds to it like the others." He said, "The creation of the serum will be time consuming, taking at least a month to recreate with limited resources at your facility. I must warn you, when the serum is injected, stay away from Darkiplier. He will be at his worst during the first few days. He will attack you."

"Understood." You nodded while swallowing hard. This was going to suck ass and you cursed The Doctor for even putting you in this situation. "So, how do we get out of here?"

"Follow me."
