Last night turned out better than I thought. I got Tamar's number, and I gave her mine. Today is the day that I have a lunch date with her, and I'm excited for some reason. I mean maybe I'm just happy that all of this drama is over. The media is having a field day with it.
I'm glad I don't have to worry about Asia because she's out of town on "business" for two weeks. I know better than to believe that shit. Anyway, I got up and went to the bathroom to take care of my business. Taking a shower, brushing my teeth, etc. I went back to my room and got dressed. I had some errands to run before the lunch date.
I have a meeting with my manager and the rest of my team about a few appearances that came up for next month. I looked in my drawer of my dresser and got my favorite purple and grey panty and bra set and set it on my bed. I went into my walk- in closet and picked out a sexy outfit.

Once I finished, I set my outfit on my bed. I made sure I was completely dry from my shower and started to get dressed. Before I left, I had to admire myself in the mirror but quickly looked away. I hate that I'm so insecure, and it doesn't help when you have a girlfriend that reminds you of your flaws everyday.

I made sure my curls were in tact before I grabbed my phone and left out of my room and went downstairs to the kitchen. I opened my refrigerator and grabbed my pre- made fruit smoothie and an apple since I wasn't that hungry. I grabbed my purse and keys and made my way out of the door.
After locking up my house, I unlocked my car and went to the driver's side. Once I got in, I put on my seatbelt and turned on the radio. My song VSOPcame on, so I started to sing along while I drove to my manager's office. Ten minutes later, I finally made it after getting gas. It took me an extra five minutes to find a parking spot. I finally found one and parked.
I turned off my car and unhooked my seatbelt. I put my keys in purse and made my way inside. I went up to the receptionist.
"Hi, Miss Michelle." She greeted me. She was a pretty girl, and unlike most of the women that work for Kevin, Alisha has self- respect, and she doesn't try to fuck the boss just to get to the top. She actually works her ass off.
"Hi Alisha, Can you let Kevin know that I'm here?" I asked before taking out my phone and checking it. I saw that I had a text from Tamar.
"Sure, I'll call him." She said as I just nodded my head, distracted by the texts. She picked up the phone and called Kevin while I answered Tamar's text.
Tay👭💍: Where are we meeting at for lunch?
Me: We can meet at Dino's Chicken and Burgers
Tay👭💍: I love that place!
Me: Me too. I'll see you after my meeting in an hour.
Tay👭💍: Okay🖒
I decided to check my social media while I waited for Kevin. He was in another meeting before I got here. I just came a few minutes early. After about five minutes, Alisha told me he was ready for me. I got up and followed her to his office. She opened the door, and I stepped in while thanking her. She closed the door and I sat in the chair in front of his desk.
"Hey Kevin," I greeted. "What was this meeting about?" I asked.
"Well, I got a call from the producers of The Wendy Williams Show, and asked me if you would be willing to go on her show." Kevin explained.
"Well-" I started to say before he cut me off.
"The thing is that she wants you and Tamar on the show together to talk about the BET Awards." He finished while looking at me for my reaction.
"I'm fine with it. Tamar and I are on better terms now, so that's not a problem for me." I said honestly. It was true, I don't feel some type of way about me and Tamar being in the same room together anymore, hince why we're going to lunch together. Tay is low- key bae.😍 We finished talking about the show for another few minutes then I said my goodbyes and left.
I made my way to Dino's to meet Tamar. I don't know why I was nervous, so I plugged my phone into my Aux cord and turned on my Pandora app. My song Got 'Em Like came on. I sung along to it and before I knew it, I made it to Dino's. I parked my car in front of the building. I turned off my car and made my way inside.
I asked the host for a table for two, and he led me to the table. He put down two menus and asked me what I wanted to drink. I ordered a lemonade and he left. I already knew what I wanted, so I got on Twitter to see what's going on while I wait for Tamar.
"Hey, K." Tamar greeted once she came to the table. And, damn did she look good! For a second, I got tongue tied just looking in her eyes. The floral jeans really fit her right.

"Hey, Tay." I greeted back as she sat down across from me.
"Did I have you waiting long? I just came from dropping my son off with my mom." She said.
"No, I actually just got here about ten minutes ago. I haven't been here long." I said as she grabbed a menu while the waiter came.
"I'm Lea, and I will be your waiter." She said. "What would you like to drink?" She asked Tamar.
"I'll just take a water." Tamar said as the waiter wrote it down. She looked at me and asked did I want a refill and I said yes.
"Are you ready to order?" She asked.
"Yes," we replied in unison. I let Tamar order first then I ordered. We made small talk while we waited.
