9 Months later
I finally had Nick around my finger. Not literaly, but figuretivly. The sparks finally ignited and he and I already had our first kiss at prom. Everything was coming out swell.
"Hey Sofi, have you seen my phone anywhere?" Nick asked. We were at a friend's birthday party. And of course men go wild when they have had plenty to drink. As for Nick, he had already puked on the carpet twice.
"Oh come on Nick. You were my ride home." I winned.
"Don't worry baby. I can drive. I can see things perfectly." He said.
"Maybe I should call a cab."
"My ass. There are no cab drivers at this hour. Besides, I can drive." His breath smelled like alcohol and pizza.
I began to feel pretty irritated and decided to get one of Nick's friends to drive me home. Then I remembered Lucy. Ever since I've been going out with Nick, its seemed that I've been gaining more and more friends. As my bubble of loneliness narrowed, my confidence grew.
"Hey Lucy." I said.
"Oh, hey." She replied over the phone. She didn't seem tired even though it was 2 in the morning.
"Sorry to bother you. I'm just in a serious crisis right now. Nick is drunk and I need a ride home. Do you mind picking me up?" I pleaded.
"Ya. sure. I'll be over in twenty."
"Thanks." I hung up. All I had to do is step outside and wait for my mind. I couldn't think straight with all the rumage around me. The music. The screaming. The fights.

When Lucy finally arrived I was happy and worried. Where did Nick go. I hadn't seen him while I was waiting for Lucy to arrive.
"Don't worry about Nick. He passed out in the bedroom. Drake called me." Lucy said. Drake was the host of the party. It was his plan to make this party for John. Not only was Drake a rebel, but he had a soft spot, not for people, but for pets.

I seemed like forever when we finally arrived at my house. I was so tired and so confused. I didn't know what to think of anything. I got out of the car and thanked Lucy.
"Again. I'm sorry to bother you this early in the morning." I said.
"No problem. Besides, I had a guy over and we and I were making a sandwich." She winked. I smiled and headed for my door.
I couldn't wait to get to bed. But to my surprise, my mom stood before me with a present.
"What is that?" I said.
"Oh just something I found for you." She smiled. I walked towards her and took the present in my hands and opened it. I couldn't believe what was in it.
"A diamond necklace?" I said.
"Nick told me to give it to you when you came back from the party. He also told me that all those insects in his stomach are ready to errupt and be set free. He love you sweet heart," She took my face into her arms. "And he's ready to show it to you."
*I feel sooo involve. If only I had a man who gave me presents. #Foreveralone.
