San Francisco was far beyond what I expected. It was cold, but the views were beyond extrodinary. Nick and I decided to visit San Francisco before we started planning for his cousin's birthday. We were planning on spending a week with eachother.
"How about that? They have the movie you wanted to watch." Nick stated. I looked up at the theater's sign and noticed that it didn't start for another 2 hours.
"I think we should look around. Maybe tomorrow we can come and watch it." I stated.
"Ok."
"How about we get something to eat? Then we can walk on the Golden Gate Bridge."
"Let's do it." We decided to eat at Panda Express.
It did take us long to get to our destination since everything was just so tall and crowded. We felt a feeling of relieve when we finally arrived.
"We're here babe." He said.
"Finally," I sighed. "My legs are asleep." Everything felt like a new beggining for me. The city was incredible. The people were really nice, and it was clean. No violence. No holocausts.
We went inside the restaurant and ordered. Everyone seemed to just stare at us and automatically know that we were foreigners. I simply would smile and them and they would do the same.
Afterwards, Nick and I decided to go to the park and eat there.
"Oh my goodness Nick. Look." I said as I looked up at the clouds. "They're shaped into animals." Nick just loved the way I enjoyed observed things. He loved the way I enjoyed traveling and meeting new people.
"You're gorgeous." He wispered into my ears. I couldn't help but smile. I had finally found someone whom I loved with everything I've got.
"I love you." I mouthed to Nick.
"Not as much as I love you." Nick mouthed back. "Just wait and see till dusk. I have a surprise for you." I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. I wonder what it was. I just couldn't wait to see what it was.

"Come Sofi. We're almost there." Nick said.
"Why are we up here?" I said. We had traveled up a hill by foot.
"You'll soon see." Nick seemed just as excited as I was, but I still didn't know what the surprise was.
Once we reached the top, you could clearly see the view of San Francisco. Since the atmosphere was dark, you could see each light in the city make a perfect picture of San Francisco.
"It's beautiful." I said as Nick lighted some tourches nearby. "What are you doing?" I asked.
"Just lightening the dark." He replied. I turned my attention back at the city. Small sparks were found just below the hill. Fireworks. They lit the sky like a thousand fireflies. Every color stood different then its partner. It felt like the fourth of July only it was June. One firework in particular was shaped as a huge heart.
I turned my attention back at Nick who was on the floor on one knee. He held a tiny velvet box enrapped in a pink bow. I knew what this meant.
"Sofi," Nick hestitated. "You know that I love you and that its been a year and a half since I first met you." I began to cry. "I know you wanted a romatic proposal so here I go. Sofi, will you be my one and only love?" I couldn't believe it. He, the one I knew had the powder to light this spark in me, wanted me. The love of my life.
"Yes." I stated. "Yes. I'll marry you." Nick got up and I immediatly hugged him. This was a dream come true. He and I kissed in the moonlight as the fireworks kept sparkling in the mist. Finally, both hearts unite to form love, the most beautiful thing that exists.
