The more time was flying, the more nervous I'd get. I'd never dated a guy nor gone out with one. Since this was my first time with everything, I decided to dress to impress. I wore a tight black dress with heels and my hair was up in a pony tail with curls coming down. For some reason I wanted to seduce him and let his magic take over.
I got down stairs and saw my mom with a digital camera.
"Mom!" I winned. "Not now."
"I'm suppose to capture happy memories, and clearly this is a special moment." I gave her a blank stare and started to walk towards the door.
"Where you going? Isn't he coming to pick you up?"
"Yes mother." I took a deep breath. "But I rather wait for him outside." I gave a small smile. My mother, of course, wasn't happy with my saying, so she pulled me away from the door and into the kitchen.
"But I want to meet this lovely boy of yours. Besides, it's the first guy you've ever 'loved'."
"Liked." I corrected. Just then, the door bell rang. My stomach fell to rock bottom.
"He's here." I mom said cheerly. I just stood there rooted to the ground.
"Hello Nick." My mom said. "I'm Daniel, Sophia's mom."
"Such a pleasure to meet you." He responded. I tightied up and walked in the hallway.
"Hey Nick. Sorry about my mom. She can be-" I made circles around my left. My mom made a face and went into the kitchen.
"You look beautiful." He smiled.
"Thanks." I smiled back, my cheeks turning bright pink.
He held my hand and walked me out the door.
"After you my royal highness."

My hands began to sweat when we arrived at Olive Garden. Nick turned off the engine and looked at me.
"I know something about you." He stated. I suddenly looked up and turned towards him. "This isn't who you really are." He said looking down at my alfet.
"I know." I stated softly. He held my hands in his cold, large palms.
"I would have been happy if you dressed in sneakers and jeans." He said. "Come on. Let's go inside."
We walked into the restaurant and were immediatly settled down.
"Would you like to order now?" The waitress asked. Nick nodded.
"Can I have the Fettuccine Alfredo?" He turned towards me.
"I'll have the same thing."
"Coming right up." The waitress left.
"You seem tense." Nick softly said.
"I am. I'm really nervous." I responded.
"Don't be. Just relax." His smile was like my leader, leading me to salvation. He seemed like the type of guy who understood a woman more than she understood herself. At that moment, I knew I wanted Nick to be my Romeo and I his Juliet.
After we finished eating, we headed towards the car and drove to my place.
"I really enjoyed today." Nick said when we were in the car right outside my house.
"Same here." I smiled.
"We...we should do this again sometime." He suggested nervously.
"I'd like that." I replied.
Once our conversation was over, he volunteered to walk me to my house door.
"Thanks again." I said.
"No problem." He smiled. He started to sound a little eary. Next thing I knew, he planted a kiss on my left cheek. "I wanted to do that." He smiled. I stood rooted to the ground as Nick got in his car and drove away.
