Kehte hain samay kisi ke liye nahi rukta. Par aaj iss andheroon mein, apno se door, bandhi ban kar rehne ke baad, Anika ki waqt ruk gayi.
She sighed, shivered with cold. Something that she had gotten used to ever since she arrived here- or maybe it would be better if it was said- ever since she was kidnapped and dragged down here.
It wasn't supposed to be this way. She was supposed to be back home. She wasn't supposed to be abducted on her way to work, and knocked unconscious. She wasn't supposed to wake up in a weird, dark cabin, with a strange man- Shivaay; claiming to have kidnapped her.
She was supposed to sit tight and wait until her father's search party found her, and not try to escape, from the cabin. Neither was she supposed to underestimate her kidnapper's running skills, due to which she was caught.
And the best part?- They hadn't even noticed that they had wandered far away from the cabin.
And there they were. Stranded, and chilled to the bones. Nothing but a small fire that kept them alive.
" Wanna go for a run again?" an arrogant voice brought her back to reality. She looked up, her eyes meeting a young man.
He looked nothing like a kidnapper. In facet he looked the opposite. Tall and lean, his face was sculpted to perfection. But his beauty lay in his eyes, which were a brilliant blue, with specks of green, always sparkling.
In a weird way If he wasn't the reason that she was stuck in such deep shit then, maybe she would actually find him attractive.
He cocked an eyebrow, and she looked away. Ignoring his question she rubbed her hands. " It's all your fault!" she grumbled.
" My fault?"
" haan! Agar tum aise jagah nahi chunte, hum yaha phaste nahi" she said angrily.
He snorted "oh, meri jagah acchi hain. Agar tum bhagthe nahi toh hum phaste nahi."
she huffed, and stood up. Just as she took a step, her foot slipped. She yelped as her body flung backwards. But before she could hit the ground, hot arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her up. Her body slammed into a warm chest. She gasped as their faces stopped, inches from each other.
" careful babe" he murmured, his breath creasing her face softly. He smelled of something incredibly amazing. Something intoxicating. Addicting. He smirked and she ripped herself away from his body.
" Choona math!" She hissed " Mujhe akela chod do!!"
She turned, stomping away from him. She expected a rude reply but, was only met with silence. Seconds ticked by and she turned around slowly. There was no one in sight. He had really left her!
Her heart pounded as the reality of her situation sunk in. She was in middle of nowhere, dirty and hungry and now, lonely. She heard a sound behind her and whirled around, her hand flying to her heart. Tears stung her eyes as fear filled her heart. She heard a rustle of leaves and she turned again, ready to breakdown.
Shivaay stood there, with a puzzled look on his face as he took in her scared state. She didn't stop as her legs moved as if on their own accord. Reaching him, she threw her arms around his neck. He staggered back in surprise. Relief flooded through her, as she felt his arms around her.
" where were you?" she cried, as tears gushed down her face.
" Ummm firewood?" he answered his tone hesitant. She sniffed and pressed herself closer to him. Strange, how he was her kidnapper, yet wrapped in his arms, she felt safer than ever. His warmth flooded through her skin, making her not wanting to part.
