*Tap Tap Tap*

There Lilly sat tapping anxiously against the arm of the chair she was sitting in. She was going over the song she had chosen over and over again making sure she had the song memorized as much as she could before she had to go into the audition and sing it.

Soon enough she was called in to the audition room, which made her nerves a lot worse then when she had walked in. She traveled down the, what seemed never ending hallway to her destination at the end, the room that she had to prove herself in. She had saw when she walked in "pros" which were the people Lilly thought had done this before, you could tell with the way they didn't seem nervous at all. Like they all new they would get in.

She entered the room finding four people behind a table, a guy with a camera and 2 women, a redhead and a brown hair, whom Lilly would assume are the directors or at least a heads of the production. Then on the right side of the room sat a older lady behind a piano, whom she  reminded Lilly of the elder who lived next to her who was the kindest lady you could meet.

She gave the older lady her piano music for her song then returned to her spot in the middle.

"Start when your ready dear" The redhead of the 2 ladies at the table told her, sending a small smile for reassuring. Lilly gave back a nod, then introduced the song she was singing. After the intro she began the first verse feeling herself already getting lost in the song

"Everybody's got a thing but some don't know how to handle it                                       Always reaching out in vein just taking the things not worth having.."

She continues the song forgetting all the nerves she had in the beginning. The small part she had prepared was finished so she stood at the spot waiting to be dismissed. Both ladies had amused looks on there faces like they already knew their decision, which made Lilly worry if she had done good enough.

"Thank you Ms.Autumn your free to go, the posting of the cast with be on the notification wall outside the building tomorrow." The brown hair lady informed her.

"Thank you for your time." Lilly responded, then headed out of the room and back through the endless hallway to find herself in the entrance part of the Arts Center.

Going to get her bag from her seat she noticed someone new accompanying the chair next to the seat she had been in. It was a boy, a boy that caught Lilly's eye.

"Is it nerve racking? The audition part I mean. I have to go next, should I be worried? " He asked looking  up at Lilly making her notice how mesmerizing his eyes were. Almost so mesmerizing that she forgets to answer. Almost.

"For me it was until I started singing, the people in the room are really nice! You have nothing to worry about. It all depends how you sing. If it helps just think of something or someone your comfortable with, that way you don't think about the nerves." She tells him sending him a reassuring smile, one like she had gotten only a couple minutes earlier.

He smiled in return, sending a 'thanks I will' to her. Unfortunately for Lilly she had promised her best friend a movie night so she had to go, since she was probably already late as it is.

"I am sorry but I must go, but good luck on your audition....

"Mason, Mason Versaw" He tells her cutting into her sentence.

"Well like I said before good luck Mason" She tells him again and heads to the door to leave the building, but before she could leave he called after her.

"Wait! I never got your name miss mysterious." She laughs a little at the cute nickname, turns around and answers

"It's Lilly" With that she left and headed out to her car, thinking of only his eyes and smile.

Somehow they both knew they would see each other again

What she didn't know was that it was her that he had thought of during his audition.

What he didn't know is that she had felt equally as comfortable with him.
