2 days had passed since Lilly had found out and it was today that she had to start the practice for the play. Her and Mason had been texting non stop since the joyful day that they both got in. She was still texting now.

Lil Lilly <3: Shouldn't you be leaving for practice, that's what I'm doing?

Super M: Yea I am leaving too, watch we both get there at the same time again

Lil Lilly <3: That would be more like ironic but I will see you there

Super M: Yea see you there!

Lilly grabbed her back pack filled with her dance clothes and left to go to her car, giving her mom a quick peck on the cheek and a bye, then headed out to her car.

She arrived at the Arts Center, but she didn't see Mason or his car. She pulled into a empty space and got out, grabbed her bag and headed in to the practice space. She sat her stuff down and a girl came up and introduced her self.

"Hi! I'm Emily, You look new. This your first show?" Emily was a really pretty short haired girl who looked Lilly's age.

"Actually this is my third show but my first one here. My names Lilly.

They continued talking becoming great friends when suddenly hands covered over Lilly's eyes. She had gotten frightened for a second until the familiar voice spoke out.

"Guess who?

"Oh I don't know....Bob the builder?

That made him laugh and she turned around and hit his arm slightly.

"Don't cover my eyes like that you scared me."

That made him laugh more, he probably felt her jump when he covered her eyes.

The two ladies soon walked in and headed to a table with piles of scripts on it that Lilly had not noticed earlier. They then called for all attention even though they already had Lilly's.

"You all made it into this production! Congrats! For all who don't know I am Beth the director and that is Mary, she is the stage manager. You will soon be getting your script, and in it is a sheet with all the practice dates and what characters have to be at what practices. After all the scripts are passed out you will be separated into 3 groups, 2 dancing, 1 singing, depending on what character you are. Lets begin with the scripts." The brown haired lady from the audition spoke out, which Lilly now knew that her name was Beth.

She then began to give the scripts out one by one going to name from name. By about the 12th script Lilly's name was called unfortunately they used her full name which she was sure Mason would have stick.

"Lilith Autumn

She went up and  grabbed her script then came to settle back in her chair looking at the practice sheet. She saw her character was listed in all of the practices except one.

Soon enough all the scripts were passed out and Mary began separating the huge group.

"Okay the Jets  and Sharks will stay here to work on vocals  while Shark girls will head to the winter theater for dancing, Jet girls will head to the ballet studio for dancing also. Only the people playing Tony, Maria, Adeline, Big Diesel and A-Rab will go to the Summer theater to start on scenes.

They group separated with Lilly heading out with Mason to the Summer theater. They met up with another girl and boy who were most likely Maria and Tony. They walked up to the theater, when they got there they saw the stage almost already done up for this play with the back round a city skyline. They all went up and sat in the first row of chairs, when Beth entered. She went on the stage to the point in front of us.

"I separated you 5 to tell you about your characters.'West Side Story' is a modern version of Romeo and Juliette, for two reasons. Tony and Maria are the star crossed lovers from the Jets and sharks, while Adeline and Big Diesel are crossing Adeline's brother A-Rab by falling in love. I wanted to make sure you knew that Tony and Maria kiss along with Adeline and Big Diesel so I wanted you 4 to know each other more so it is not as uncomfortable kissing a what would be, stranger.

Lilly didn't know what to think. She had to kiss him. Was she happy? She didn't know.

Was she sad? No.
