Getting comfortable

It was a couple days after Lilly found out they had to kiss. They hadn't been talking as much as they used to which worried her. If they weren't talking that meant that it had become awkward between them, which it not going to help them at all when they have to kiss.

Right now she was headed to the ballet studio for the choreographer to rehearse the dance moves for the song 'Cool'. Although her character leaves halfway through the song so that she can be with Big Diesel she had to be there for the dance and then she would go work on vocals with the older piano lady Mrs. June, who Lilly learned recently that was her name.

She entered the room with Emily lightly talking about the show. She went over to change into her shoes for the show. She had to get used to wearing heels since she was a flats type of girl.

After she changed she walked over next to Emily, then the teacher began to speak.

"Okay girls and boys I want you all in the places from yesterday, we will go from the top with vocals added then fix anything if needed. You guys are doing really well. Places!" She called out making all of them rearrange around the room.

The teacher started the music and they all got into character and began to dance. It got to the part where all of the others go watch the girls dance and that's where Mason takes Lilly's hand and leads her away, which in the theater would be outside.

They look at the teacher and she gives them a nod telling them that they are free to go to vocals. Lilly goes back over to  bag and changes back into her converse, stuffing her heels into her bag. She meets back up with Mason in the hallway and they begin to walk down it. Before Lilly can stop herself she spills out what has been bugging her.

"Are we okay? I mean we have not been as talkative as we were before the whole kissing thing was brought down on us, so I didn't what you thought about  it which made me worry abou-" Before Lilly can finish Mason covers his hand over her mouth and laughs finding her rambling adorable, but of course he would never admit that.

"Hey it's fine, I was just shocked and afraid that you were not going to be okay with it. But as long as we are both comfortable with it then it's all good right?"

Lilly let out the 2nd breath of relief she had since they met. He sure was a heart stopper.

Lilly nodded in response and then continued walking with him to where they were to go to practice their duet 'Never Stop'.

She set her stuff down grabbed her script and walked into the room sending a smile to Mrs. June. Opening the page her song was on she took her place next to Mason ready to begin.

She knew now he was comfortable with her.

He knew now she was comfortable with him.

They both didn't know what comfortable can really do.
