Sitting on the couch waiting for the clock to strike noon, Lilly impatiently waits so she can go to find out if she made it in 'West Side Story'. She felt that she had put her heart into the audition. She would have to keep auditioning if she didn't get into this play, Lilly knew she would never give up something she really wanted, and she wanted this.

When Lilly was little her dad always told her to reach for her star and if was out of reach get a step stool. She always kept that in her head after her dad passed away when she was 12. She had then realized she needed to dream her biggest dream, then achieve it. That's what she is doing.

Remembering all of that bought her so much time when she looked at her phone it read *12:07pm* so she grabbed her bag and left to go to the Arts Center.

Ironically she got there the same time as Mason. As she closed her car door she turned around to find Mason getting out of his car across from her in the parking lot.

She started to walk down to the front of the building when Mason called after her and jogged up to her. They both continued walking in a comfortable silence when Lilly broke it.

"How do you think your audition went?" She asked generally interested in finding out. She was regretting asking when his face went completely serious and he spilled out:

"Horribly, I bombed it your advice did not help at all

Lilly felt really bad, even though she was trying to help. She had gone from regret to confusion when he broke out into a cute laughter.

"You should of seen your face! I was kidding, I think it went really well in fact your advise helped a lot!"

She let out a sigh of relief, then lightly nudged him. He just ignored it and laughed as if she never nudged him. Lilly had to admit if she was him she would of done that prank too. She is beginning to think they had a lot in common. She then hoped he was in the show as was she so that they could know each other more.

They both approached the group of people who had gathered around the board. The group was getting smaller with people leaving in ether pure joy, anger or sadness. Lilly hoped she wouldn't walk away as one of the last two.

As they both waited in the group, both too engrossed in trying to see the sheet of paper, broke away from each other by people coming and leaving the sea of people.

Finally she got to the front with the paper. Her eyes looked down the list passing over others until.....

Adeline: Lilith Autumn

She was in the show. She was in it! She couldn't believe it. She left the group of people with a unalterable smile. On her way back to her car she bumped into someone causing her to turn to say sorry but then saw it was Mason, holding a smile that matched hers. Out of excitement they both talked at the same time.

"Did you get in?" They laughed off the twin moment and then Lilly spoke again, this time alone.

"Yea! I got in did you?"  He gave her a quick nod. Out of pure joy for them both, Lilly shocked them both by hugging Mason. Mason quickly reacted by hugging her back placing his head on top of hers with him being so tall.

They broke apart and headed back  to their cars. Before they parted Mason was now the one surprising one, only this time only to Lilly.

"Can I have your number to you know umm talk about the show and stuff since we will be spending so much time with each other?

Lilly giggled at his awkwardness at asking the question. She didn't even respond but just handed him her phone. Then giggled again at his face when the phone went into his hands like he was expecting a no.

He got out his phone and handed it to her.

She typed in her number and as the contact name she typed in lil lilly  <3 and handed it back. They both looked down and laughed at the names. He had typed in Super M for his contact name.

"Lil Lilly thats cute."He told her which made her slightly blush.

"Well I guess I know who to call if I need a super hero." She laughed back, making him slightly blush this time.

They both parted and headed to their cars. Content with how the day has been. She couldn't wait to get to know him better. He was surly... something.

She knew he was going to text her.

He knew she would text  back.

They both didn't know what their parts had to do with each other.
