After waiting an extra hour for the taxi driver to finally show up Alex, Lizzy, and I arrived at the 'great Gatsby's' of frat houses. The king of frat houses, known for having the most unhinged, erratic parties on campus, all while every fraternity member maintaining a GPA of 4.0.

From the outside, you could distinguish the elegance of vast columns stretching, only to be stop by the awning, high above the small trees of the yards' landscape. You could detect faint outlines of stone statues, and even could smell the freshly mowed lawn. From the outside, this home had better sanitation than the homes on Hollywood boulevard. But the inside was completely incommensurable. The inside was a far cry from the outdoors.

Dimmed lights, deafening music, a reeking sweat and liquor odor and bodies by the square inch. Maneuvering ourselves through this colossal crowd was not an easy task. After what seemed like ages we found a small couch open in the back. We all sit awkwardly on the couch or the floor. Louis excused himself, only to come back moments with his hands full of drinks that I wouldn't even try to figure out the names to. Alex sat on the chair and Niall was sitting next to a very rosy cheeked Lizzy on the floor. They looked so adorable; you could tell they were both avoiding each other's eye contact. Louis is sitting next to me on the couch and passing out drinks to everyone. I see Niall hurriedly down his drink, and everyone else dive in to some random conversation about how music nowadays sucks and some other crap. Niall and Louis must LOVE music because Alex and them were really into this conversation. Leaving Lizzy and I to make random small talk. I hate small talk.

By now we have been here for approximately two hours and I am very tired of sitting on this little couch talking about random unimportant nonsense. Niall and Lizzy had long ago slipped to some quiet corner, probably to eat each other's faces out, but I'll ask her later. Louis left soon after them seeking some friend, I guess? So I excuse myself from Alex in search of a restroom. I feel so disorientated, it's not because I'm tipsy either my last drink was an hour ago. But the crowd in here is so thick that I can't see two feet in front of me. I swear I've gone down this hallway at least three times now, but finally i spot it. Only to discover that harry is hovering right in front of it. Maybe if i keep my head down and rush in he won't be able to recognize me.

I manage to dart in without anyone stopping or spotting me, thankfully. So I do my business, then I fix my hair and make-up before making my way back out to the party. As I exit I turn around to see if Harry was still there, to my surprise he wasn't. I head towards the next room where I can hopefully find Alex. When I see Harry, walking right in my direction holding two drinks.

"Drink?"

"I'm done drinking for the night. "

"Relax its coke, although i would probably need a beer if this party goes on any longer."

"Why are you even here if you are bored?"

"Same as you I presume, I said yes to Niall's stupid puppy dog eyes."

"Wait. You know Niall? Which means you knew I would be here right?"

"He's my roommate, and he said something about a Lizzy and Ryann, I put two and two together because you know I've never really met a girl named Ryann, so I figured he meant you."

"Gee thanks."

He was about to say something else but I cut him off.

"Why did you freak out when I called you ed- that name? "

"Stop being nosey."

"I'm not being nosey, you said it yourself 'what could I possibly know about you' so here I am asking you a question, after you walked up to me. So again how am I being nosey."

" You wouldn't understand. I'm an unsolvable puzzle."

" Harry, I...."

I was cut off by Alex yanking me sideways babbling about how Lizzy found out the time and has to get up really early and before I said another word to Harry I was dragged out of the not so legendary frat house.

***

The rest of the weekend was spent shopping for clothing, food, est. Honestly I didn't pay much attention to what was going on around me. Occasionally Lizzy or Alex would ask me if I'm ok and I would tell them I'm just deep in thought. I don't want them to worry about me I'm honest to them but I don't want to tell them about this Harry mess until I get all of these scrambled facts lined up in my mind. Why would he... What if he... Maybe if I just asked him why... I don't know why he is such a mystery to me. I just wanted to talk to him about the confusing messages he is sending me. Lizzy tried to distract me by showing me some shoes but, all that clouded my mind was how to put the puzzle pieces together.
