Chapter 21

"Just me, her and the moon" ~ OneDirection
(I know, in this night is no moon but I love it anyway)

"Do you see the Taurus rising up in the east there?" James pointed at a special group of stars quite low on the sky.

I nodded and tried to not move too much because I didn't want to change our position. I leaned on James and he had wrapped his arms around me. We both were under a blanket. The air had become quite cold but James' body, the blanket and my adrenaline kept me warm. It was the first time that James and I have gotten so close. Only our cloths parted us from each other.

Every inch of my back was pressed against his chest and belly and I could feel his steady breath and heartbeat. For me it was unmanageable to have a normal heartbeat right now. My heart was completely out of rhythm because of James' nearness.
But I enjoyed that feeling.

"Can you see its red eye? The biggest star of the Taurus is a bit red if you look at it exactly."

I saw it. But it didn't interest me. All that I could focus on was James behind and around me.

He moved his legs and pulled me closer. Then I felt his chin on my shoulder.

His thumbs moved slowly in circles on my arm and affected goosebumps on my whole body. I closed my eyes to enjoy the feelings more.

There was an absolute silence in the park. No cars, no animals, no people. Only our breaths and heartbeats.

The stars were the only lights in this dark night.

It was new moon and that was why we could see the maximum of stars in the sky. And that was the reason why James had chosen this night. It was his luck that the sky was cloudless as well.
But when I was honest, I didn't need a moonless sky full of stars without a cloud in front of it. And I didn't even need a blanket or very delicious strawberries.
All I needed was a lonly place and James.

After a while James said my name quietly.
"Did I already say that I love you?" My heart made a somersault.
"I mean-" He went on. "-not only that 'I love you'. But I really love you. I fell for you." There it was. The security that he had the same feelings for me. You can't imagine how glad I was.

I felt his hot breath against my skin. He lowered his mouth to my skin and I wasn't even sure if his mouth touched my skin because the touch was so gentle.

"James" I began. "I love you too." Yes, not very creative but it was all I knew and felt in this moment.
It was like James had waited for this answer because only now he actually began to kiss the naked part of my shoulder. He slowly moved up my neck and I just had trouble with not forgetting to breathe. I literally had to tell myself to not forget it.

Then I finally turned my head so that James had to skip the last centimeters of his way to my mouth and kissed it already now.
His lips were so soft and moved so securely. This kiss elicited so many butterflies in my stomach.

I slowly turned around that it was more comfortable for both of us to keep our mouths together. I put one hand on his neck and he passed with his hands through my hair.

As he retired a little bit I was afraid that this kiss ended already. But he only wispered "Melina? Please don't forget to breathe!"
I blushed and in the next second his lips were on mine again. This time he moved a bit faster and the kiss became more passionate. He softly bit my lip and I couldn't oppress a silent moan.

It was like we both had to satisfy our hunger. I don't know how long we actually kissed but I could tell, it was very long.

We both had laid down and watched the stars right over us. Our fingers were intertwined.

When it got too cold we decided to drive back. We didn't talk. There was nothing to talk about since we showed what we felt. We simply smiled to ourselves and were glad about the way how things have turned out.

When we arrived at my house James guided me the few steps to the door just as always. This time we didn't hug to say good bye. But he kissed me another time. It was a pity that this kiss was only a short one. But I knew that it wasn't our last one by far. I was sure that there were billions of kisses waiting for me. And I was looking forward to get them.

Thanks for everyone who is still here and read my story. This is the last chapter but I have an idea for a sequel :) But I don't know if and when I'll write it. For now I need something different.

I'm so glad that I have this opportunity to practice this language because I can tell that it really helps! Just read my first chapters again and compare it with the latest!
