Chapter 17

Melina's P.O.V

In the luggage room it was damn hot. I waited already since one and a half hour for the Vamps' arriving at the airport. I stared out of the big window and looked for an airplane.

I felt kind of kidded because it wasn't even that not only the private jet from the Vamps didn't arrive. But there arrived absolutely nothing. Neither a plane nor anything else drove around like busses or something.

I regretted that I didn't took my book with me. I thought their plane wouldn't be delayed for that long... so I just sat there on the bench, stared and sweated.

I looked at the door where I've entered the room one and a half hour ago. It was closed and the body guard - I guess it was a body guard - who leaned against the wall looked like he would sleep within the next minute.

It was so kind from Joe to allow me to wait for them in the luggage room and that I haven't had to wait with the fans together.

Suddenly the door opened next to the guard and I turned around way too quickly. A girl entered the room. She was really beautiful even though she looked stressed out.

"Am I too late?!" She said out of breath.
"Too late for what?" I replied.
"Have the boys arrived yet?"
"If you mean the Vamps, no, their flight is apparently delayed." I didn't know how a private jet could be delayed but somehow the Vamps managed it. Congratulations.

"Thank god! The traffic kills me. Always the same shit."

Then she went towards me and reached out her hand. "Hi. Who are you?" She said friendly and smiled.

"I'm Melina." I answered.

"Hi Melina, nice to meet you. I'm Holmes. Connors girlfriend. And whose girlfriend are you?"

"Uhm nobody's... I'm a friend from James."

"Ahhh" She said with emphasis and an eyebrow rised.

"Well I'm sure you won't be his friend for not that long anymore. Normally Joe allows only the girlfriends to visit them 'savily' at the airport..."

I blushed and she winks at me and grinned. Then she sat down next to me and put her right foot over her left leg.

"Since when are you waiting?" She asked.

"Since one and a half hour." I moaned and she gave me a sympathetic gaze.

"Ah yes, welcome to the Vamps. It'd be better for you when you get used to it. The boys have a big problem with the time. Even the fans suffer from it."

I sighted another time and placed my chin into my hand.

Then she said "Wow it's damn hot here. How did you manage to stay here all the time?"

I laughed sarcastically and said "I actually don't know."

Holmes was really cool. As far as I knew Connor already I could tell that she might suited him good.

"Since when are you together, you and Connor?"

"Since half a year."

"And where did you meet?"

"Uhm that's a very long story... Believe me, if I start now the Vamps would already arrive from their next appointment here." She laughed.

"And what about you and James?"

"What do you exactly mean?" I asked nervous.

"Everything. What's the situation between you? Why aren't you together yet?"
