Dedicated to reading_front_
It was a windy and dark night. Everybody was locked up in their homes...
Just kidding😂. It was actually a very sunny and cheerful day. But to me, it was gloomy.
"I don't want to go."
My mother raised an eyebrow, "Excuse me?"
"I don't want to go." I repeated adamantly.
"you're going." She said.
"No, I'm not."
"You are." She sang.
I groaned, "Mom! Please. Think about all the parties and fun that I'm going to miss. My social life will be practically over by the time I come back. You don't want your daughter's life to be over, right?"
She just laughed. She freaking just laughed!
"Stop being overdramatic, baby. Besides, Aunt Jane is a nice old lady. You'll have fun at her place."
"She's creepy. Her house is creepy. Everything about her us creepy." I said.
Mom whacked me with her spatula.
Where the heck did that come from?!!
"You're going. And that's the end of that."
And that's how I ended up in front of a very very old building, that looks like it belongs in a museum. If there's a museum for very old houses, that is.
💀
An old man opened the rickety old door. I think he fits in with the house perfectly. He has snow white hair, a pale face and unusual red lips. His eyes were silver in color. Almost transparent. He gives me the creeps, just like the house does.
"Come in, Ms Victoria." He said in a raspy voice.
I shivered inwardly and went in after him.
It was very cold inside which was very unfortunate for me because I was dressed in a tank top, shorts, and flip flops.
"Ms. Jane is waiting for you in the living room."
I jumped instantly. I didn't realise that the old dude was right behind me.
I reached down for bags but touched nothing but air.
"Where are my..."
"They're up in your room."
"When did..." I started.
Old dude (that's what I've decided to call him) cut me off, "Ms. Jane doesn't like to be kept waiting."
He led me to the living room. I have one word to describe it: Red.
Everything was red. The walls were red, the ceiling was red, the chandelier was red, the sofa was red, the rug was red, EVERY SINGLE THING WAS RED.
Except the woman sitting in the red rocking chair.Okay. So, this is my first book ever, my baby. I'm sorry if they're any spelling errors or grammatical mistakes. I hope you have fun reading it as I did writing it.
With lots and lots of love and chocolates ,
Sumee.
