I woke up to the sound of Max, Ronnie, and Craig running around the bus. I laughed and was getting ready to hop out of my bunk when I heard something that made me freeze and listen in. Craig started teasing Ronnie. "Oh you're perfect. I love you. Mwah mwah!" He laughed and Ronnie responded. "Come on! she didn't even hear that! Stop it! I just got carried away!" Max suddenly cut in. "Aw Ronnie boy, it's okay. You see around this age young men begin to develop properly and they notice-" Ronnie cut him off. "Stop! I don't need the talk about the birds and the bees! I just like her! No big deal! You and Thrasher and Jacky like her too!" Craig spoke up again. "No you love her. There's a difference Radke." Max piped up too. "You've liked her since you finally realised she was an actual girl when you were 15." He laughed. "Before that she was your 'best skateboarding buddy.'" Ronnie laughed nervously and spoke again. "Yeah well-" Their conversation stopped when I stepped out in front of them. Ronnie turned around quickly. "Shit! How much of that did you hear? None of it is true! I swear!" I laughed. "Nothing. I just woke up and her you guys talking that's all. I didn't hear a fucking thing." I lied. Ronnie let out a sigh of relief. Craig chuckled under his breath and Max patted Ronnie's shoulder. "Nice one Ronnie." He said. "Let's go get some food. iHop anybody?" I asked. They all nodded and we got ready and left to go to iHop.
