"That was the most boring class in my life," I sighed, ranting to Allison about the miserable Algebra classes.
The lunch bell rang and everyone got their food and went outside to were the eating area was.
"Boring?" She laughed. "You weren't even paying attention. You were too busy flirting with Grant."
"I was not!" I said offended. I looked over across the way and Grant was walking over to a table with a few other boys. He glanced up at me and gave me a huge grin then waved at me.
"Look at him. He is basically dying for you to get in his pants," she laughed. I gave her a glare and smacked her upside the head.
We sat down at a table that was under a few giant palm trees so we could have some shade out of the hot sun. We pulled out our completely different lunches.
Allison's was mostly unhealthy foods. My lunch was a salad and fruit. I took a bite of the salad.
"I can't believe you can actually eat healthy," Allison scoffed. "Like, I eat the occasional apple or whatever, but fruits and vegetables is like all you eat!" We both laughed and continued eating out food.
"Hey Allison, mind if we join?" Two girls came over towards our table.
"Yeah sure!" Allison said with a mouth full of food. "This is Austin. He's new here so I picked him up and made him my side hoe. Say hello to the children my boy." Allison said sarcastically and I kicked her under the table.
"Hi," I laughed. "I swear I ought to kill her some day."
"I'm Viv," a girl with long, black hair said. "You've know each other two days?" I nodded. "You act like you two have known one another for your entire lives!"
Everyone laughed again. "My names Bailey," the other girl said.
We all started talking and getting to know one another more over lunch. They seemed to be really nice people, and the four of us got along well.
"What are you guys doing tonight?" Bailey asked. "We could all do something together."
"Sounds good to me," I said. I had nothing planned and I'm sure that Shawn and Ariana would like to see that I was making new friends.
Allison thought for a moment. "Let's get Panda Express and eat by the fountains."
We agreed on doing that.
"Whoa, hold the phone. Who's that?" I asked as a cute boy walked past our table and sat down with a bunch of other boys. One of them being Hunter, the boy from yesterday.
"That's Jackson Krecioch!" Viv gave a smirk. "You like what you see?"
"Um yeah!" I could feel myself practically drooling. "Tell me about this boy."
"Jackson's the star quarterback for Westport. He's one of the richest boys in school. Although, after looking at your new house, you might have him beat," Allison said.
I rolled my eyes. We've been here three days and we already have so many comments about the house. "The boy. Tell me about that damn boy!" I demanded.
"He's definitely straight," Viv said.
"Straight as a stick," Allison added.
"Yeah, he's is like the straightest stick alive," Bailey said.
"Hey, Cole," Allison said, turning to some random guy at a table behind us. "Is Jackson Krecioch as straight as a stick?"
"Jackson is straighter than a stick!" The boy laughed before turning back around.
