The next day I woke up early to go say goodbye to him one last time. I grabbed any clothes I found and just left. The drive there was awful. I could barley focus on anything. Luckily I made it there pretty quickly, I found a parking place and nearly ran inside the building.
I speed-walked to his room because there was no running allowed. When I reached his room he was lying peacefully in his hospital bed. I walked over to his side and grabbed his hand.
"I'm so sorry Viktor..." I started to cry when I heard a moan. I looked up at Viktor when I saw to eye twitch.
My eyes widen as I got closer to his face. "Viktor?!"
When Viktor opened his eyes, they looked dead. They were grey and a light blue. He turned his head so he was facing me and opened his mouth. All that came out was a moan.
"Viktor? Are you okay?"
Suddenly Viktor lunged at me. I screamed trying to push him off of me.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" He stunk his teeth into my neck. I screamed one last time before I woke up in a cold sweat.
I quickly touched my neck and it was fine. I was still in my bed. I reached over to my phone and checked what time it was. I also looked at the date. It was the day before I got that called about Viktor's death. I started laughing as I laid back down as tears started to come out.
