Emily's POV
"We have to go!"exclaimed Cami.
"We don't have to do anything in life but die" snided Sophie earning her a death glare from Cami.
"It would be a great opportunity for us" continued Cami. "Plus it would look good on our University Application."
"Admit it Cami you just want to go to see if Jason is cheating or not." added Anna
"Okay that's the main reason but I still think it would be a great opportunity....PLEASE"begged Cami.
I sat amidst all my friends while they were carrying on their conversation not paying attention as my head was currently buried in this new novel I bought in a yard sale. It's like all the others I have read: boy and girl meet, boy saves girl, girl fall in love etc.. your normal cliche. Yet I'm addicted to it what can I say I'm a sucker for a good romance story.
"Emily are you even paying attention?" questioned Cami snappping me out of my daydream
"Huh..yeah..yeah I am"
"Really? So are you in?"
"In for? I'm sorry don't look at me like that"
"The Dance Club Emmy, the one our school is collaborating with St. Peter's Boys for"
That's right my school Mary's Girls College is collaborating with St. Peter's Boys in forming a Dance Club. Both schools are private schools that only privileged children are allowed admittance.By privileged I mean those who are rich. So they want me to join with cocky rich boys to learn to dance? Ha I think not.
"I don't know Cami it's not really my kind of scene."
"Emmy please my relationship is based on this plus you'll get to see Alec" she added the latter with a smirk.
Alec Adams,my childhood friend whom recently I cannot talk to easily without turning red or stuttering. Truthfully I have been harboring feelings for him since I was 14 and he was 16. Unfortunately he sees me as nothing but his best friend and it pains me knowing that he never will. Yet he was my weakness and Cami knew this.
"Okay I'm in but if i don't like it I'm dropping out"
"Yes!" exclaimed Cami happily as if she just got a new car.
"I'm in too!" said Sophie
"Boys? Of course I'm in" remarked Anna.
"I love you guys!Group Hug" shouted Cami
"No thanks.Don't go all mushy on me"
"I'm Fine"
"No one wants your hugs"
"It wasn't a question" Cami stated pulling us all in.
"Today we are women and tomorrow we would get men" preached Anna with her finger pointed in the air as if she is delivering a testimony causing us all to laugh.
I thought to myself what did I really get into?
