One Day

Chapter 4

Lunch time came and finished before Emily could even start her sandwich. Soon she and her friends along with the rest of the school population that were interested in club made their way over to the boy's school.

Girls were flocking into St. Peter's and the boys didn't mind one bit. Instead they were very welcoming with their catcalls and compliments.

Emily rolled her eyes at this. She cringed at their immaturity. Breathing in deeply, she calmed herself and continued making her way towards the now cleared auditorium.

They entered and stood in a corner in one big group looking very lost and confused. It did not help that they were surrounded by loads of boys. Thankfully the instructor made his way towards the stage.

"Good day students I will be your instructor from now on." He began stating, "This is my partner Alexis and today we will begin with the dance that spices up your life: Latin."

Emily's POV

Latin?  Did he just say Latin? As in the very intimate, sexy dance? God I'm screwed.

"Now boys first you must ask a girl and girls as a boy asks you, you cannot decline" announced the instructor whose name is Raees.

Great now either I won't be asked and would look like a complete idiot or some weird boy would ask me. Sigh. Well beggars can't be choosers.

"Well start!" Shouted Raees.

Okay Emily look cool. Not desperate. No wait look hot. I can't do that. YES you can. No you can't. Do you see Alec? Of course not he don't wanna be seen with you.
While I mentally argued with myself I failed to notice the group of boys now standing in front of us. Was I dreaming? because they weren't human. They looked like Greek Gods.

"Steven" Anna breathed out obviously in awed with his appearance. So this is the one she couldn't shut up about.

"Hi Anna I told you I would find you" Steven said "and I always keep my word."

Anna's smile was brighter than the sun at this moment.

"These are my friends: Cami, Emily and Sophie."

We all smiled in acknowledgement.

"This is Brent, Lane and Andrew we have another one but he's looking for some girl." Said Steven as he introduced these beautiful beings.

"Well guys I'm going to find Jake." announced Cami.

"And I Marie." Said Brent.

"So Anna would you do me the honor and be my partner?" he asked with the best pleading face I have ever seen.

"Yes I would love for you to be my partner." She replied taking his hand.

Leaving Sophie and I with Andrew and Lane.

I looked at these boys they looked so clueless. Andrew caught me staring and for a moment my chocolate brown eyes held his green emerald- like own. The intensity was too much and instantly I lowered my gaze but I couldn't help but turn red. Damn you Emily. I heard a chuckle and saw him still looking at me.

"Do you want to um dance?" He asked me while passing his right hand through his hair while the other was in the pocket of his jeans.

Suddenly, I was speechless and I barely stuttered out a yeah.

"Okay boys I hope you all have found a partner. Girls get ready. Let us begin!" Announced Raees.

This was going to be a long hour.
